Podcasts by DJ Corey Craig are awesome, continuous mixed sets of great house music. He tends toward more pop music sometimes, but he’s also great with slipping in some classics which always serve to surprise me and give me a boost of enthusiasm for my workout. :)

People who wear lots of perfume/cologne in the gym -- especially nearby while I'm on the treadmill when I can't exactly escape the fumes.

it's likely one of the few ways they can show others that they have any modicum of power as a person -- even if it doesn't come from within. But at least they can buy it from Ford on a five-year loan!

Dogs I get. People love them and are loved by them. It shows the depth of feeling someone can have. What I don't get is why anybody thinks other people want to see what they drive -- car, truck, bike, ATV... Folks pose for pictures with their vehicles all the time like somebody else actually cares.

I grew up on skim cow's milk and it's tasty and all, but I haven't bought it for ages since I began using almond milk. The flavor is better than soy milk (blech!) and it's much lower in calories. Protein content doesn't matter to me since I get that elsewhere. Half & half in my coffee though -- calorie-wise, the difference…

Polar is a very popular brand, but I prefer a bluetooth HRM where I don't have to wear a chest strap AND a receiver. I will always have my phone with me when I workout anyway (for music) so I like being able to track my heart rate with an app, rather than have to wear a tacky plastic watch. I had a Polar F6 (iirc) for…

Trader Joe's has a jasmine green tea that I absolutely love! :)

Some great advice here - I'm facing the same challenge. Bumping so I can check back for more answers later. ;)

Polar is obviously a popular brand. I had one that lasted for a few years and it was okay but I don't like having to wear two components (chest strap and watch receiver). I could also never get the modem-like audio sync to work, even using a semi-fancy microphone on my computer. That was a down-side for me since I like to…

When? In another few weeks, I'm hoping! ;D

Great video. I've always thought highly of Hillary. I'd vote for her in a second!!

Hey Everybody! My name's Scott and I've been on MFP for about half a year; I've gone back & forth on using it (mostly because I find logging my food to be excruciatingly tedious!) but I have yet to use it with support from other members. I recently began friending random guys who I could identify as gay since I'm keen to…

And you're absolutely justified in being pissed (not that you need me to tell you, of course!). :) It pisses me off, too (I'm in PA). I wouldn't ever want to get married, but it's unfair that we don't have the choice.

Precisely! I don't need to be threatened with hell to be a moral person.

I call that, "The guilty dog barks the loudest." There is no further proof needed that this idea is valid than to count the number of conservative politicians who work against gay & lesbian Americans' rights, who are then caught trying to blow an undercover cop in an airport bathroom. Textbook.

This response is AWESOME and so are you!!! ----Oops. Forgot to copy FirstSip's excellent post: "I don't think that's very fair. Being outside of a norm (read: Christianity, majority religion of much of the western world) and noting that you are isn't always an attempt to derail a discussion. It's valuable to bring in the…

That is a very kind approach to take. :)

As someone with an acute fragrance sensitivity, I not only don't wear perfume but avoid those who do. Most people don't realize the discomfort they cause and in my experience are usually not much interested in caring. :(

I'm really excited about trying some of these recipes - thanks, all!!
