  • It does seem to be happening to me more often then I used to. Now that are seasons is changing and its getting warmer out, I'm still feeling cold and having to wear a couple extra layers more often. I guess the weight loss is working.
  • Wow, now that is very informative! Thank you for this post, some very good guidelines to fallow.
  • Welcome! My reason of why is because it gives me more energy to go out and do stuff. I love the outdoors and really enjoy doing fun activities!
  • Congrats on your success! I'm hoping that I can meet my goal within a year and at least maintain it! But the fact that I'm losing as much as i am right now is a success all on its own!
  • I usually make sure to have veggies with my meals and fruits as snack in replacements for sweeter sugary stuff. Its possible that you may be eating too many veggies, possibly cut some of it back and add more proteins to your diet. I have found out that too much fiber really wasn't making me feel any better at times.
  • I have struggled a few times myself, and until I had a reality check I have finally stayed on track and its really showing more results then I have ever had! I would love to help out a new friend!
  • Welcome! Love to have as many supporters that would love the be friends also! I've been off and on my diet a few times and finally had a reality check when my weight was getting out of control, so now I've been working hard and it has really showed results! Most of those were results were from all my friends at home and at…
  • My panties still fit me the same, its the waist of my jeans that seem to be a bit looser. I had to notch in an extra hole on my belt yesterday!
  • I usually just focus more on calories and i really have no problems going over much of anything at all. My calorie goal is 1650 and there are times where I do go over sugar and sodium more then everything else. But its not hurting me and I have lost 14 lbs so far. Just keep eating healthy and always exercise and you should…
  • Thanks for the tips everyone! Feeling better, not 100%, but better then I was. When I did have to energy, I at least kept track of my calorie intake, and surprisingly I really didn't have much of an appetite the entire time so I wasn't eating enough like I should. But hey, ended up loosing 1 pound while laying around in…
  • I use it as a snack, either with a few slices of fruit (peaches works best with it) or mix in some oatmeal.
  • I got a bit of it and after working out 4xs a day for 30 - 60 minutes and constantly on the go at work with a mix of staying in my calorie goal and eating healthier foods, it had been a bit of an annoyance for awhile. But I was able to start getting it slimmed down a bit and for me it is harder to get rid of that fat from…
  • I'm pretty active myself, I don't really go to a gym but have a couple exercise machines that I use at home and getting decent progress. Would love to be a friend and having more motivation is always a great thing!
  • I've always been so depressed about how my body looks and how I see everyone else around me looking better and that I keep telling myself that I should do better and start looking like that. My hubby is happy with the way I look and tells me that I should be me and no one else. But then it got to a point where no matter…
  • It all depends on the person and how active they are and how much you work out. When I first started out I had set my calorie goal at 2,000 and was doing about 30 minutes of workout for 3 days a week. It worked great for the first 5 lbs but then I got stuck and nothing seemed to help. I slowly dropped my calorie goal and…
  • Would love to have more friends for support! I've been fighting with my goals for quite some time now and have been on and off it for so long that it has been so frustrating! I have a couple of friends who have decided to join in with my on MFP and it has really helped me to stay on track! The more the support the better!
  • I'm about 5'7 and my calorie goal is 1,650. I usually don't go above that goal so I like to build up as much exorcise calories as I can. I usually work out for an hour 4 days a week, depending on how much running around I do from waitress-ing at work. I have invested in a pedometer for about 25 dollars and its the best…
  • I don't see why not, as long as your building muscle, your able to burn more calories and helping to lose more weight. Just keep in mind, if your tracking your weight, building muscle mass will effect how much you weigh. But keep up to your exercise and healthy diet and you should do just fine.
  • I think your on the right track, I've started buying foods that have low fat or sugar free and lean meats and its working out for me. Its a bit slow since I don't work out as much as I would like to but I'm making an effort to keep my body healthy and to feel good. Eating more fruits and veggies is the ideal way to help…
  • I do sometimes cheat, but I try to substitute it with something that has less sugar and is still in my calorie goal. I've been having a lot of low fat yogurt with fruit pieces in them. Or if i want chocolate I go for the dark chocolate more often, or something like chocolate covered raisins or almonds if I have a crave.…
  • I would love to be your motivation pal! I'm in need of looking for those who are working as hard as I am to lose some weight! Together we can strive for our goals, and have fun doing it!
  • And a pal I would like to be! There are some friends and family members outside of MFP that help motivate me and rooting me on, but to get the full experience and meet the people here who are working just as hard as I am would really help me stay on track! I've been on here for awhile now but having lacked the motivation I…
  • I have that same problem, and its very frustrating when I just can't control those hungers for sweet things. I came across a yogurt called yocrunch, its vanilla yogurt with mini M&Ms that you can mix it with and its pretty tasty! You can buy it in a pack of 4 and the little packs are a perfect serving size so you don't go…
  • I will tell you now, there will be some hard times staying in track. And when you do fall off the plan, its frustrating to get back to where you were at before. I've been doing a major roller coaster these past couple of years and stressing out over it because I just cant keep that motivation half the time. I've changed…
