WOW just WOW :) OP I get what your saying and I totally agree. I do think more people are coming around and putting more resources into their health and well being then they used to. I spend more on my families nutrition then anything else. It starts with us and we are only as good as the fuel we consume. My bike is worth…

Sounds like a case of death grip syndrome ;o) Along with the other great tips you received I wanted to add that when your new(er) to riding it is easy to be tense, it takes time to get comfortable. What happens when your tense / rigid is you have no flex so your wrists are absorbing all the shock causing you pain. When you…

I'll play ... what on earth does a prostitute getting busted have to do with rape culture?

No you don't. Should you, yes.

me too .... I think we we have enough for a group

Is there some MFP rule that says there has to be one Paleo train wreck a day  Seems like the OP is trolling If you don't agree with the Paleo/Primal principles and you can't read past the caveman analogy then don't do it. I find it sad how quickly some people are willing to put down something that they obviously have…

Don't all diets have restrictions of one kind or another? Paleo/Primal is not a diet or fad, it's a different approach to what you eat. It isn't touted as a weight loss plan all tho it can be one of the many perks.

Thanks for all of the helpful posts. I get it now  My question is where does MFP come up with the calories burned?I get most of my exercise from cycling - I ride about 80 -100 miles a week. I also do Pilates and Yoga. MFP puts my calories burned for a 90 minute ride @ 1408 & 60 min of yoga / pilates @ 176. There…

I wonder what kind of deal the 30 people who gave sworn testimony got. I don't agree with doping by any stretch but they all did it (do it) and no ones arm was twisted. The fact that it took 12 years to (sort of) pin it on him seems more like a witch hunt then a search for the truth...Yes he's a smug b***tard but he has…

LOL! You rock!

Why?
-
yeah I guess. I'm sure there is a twinkie diet out there somewhere :/
-
You didn't say "it doesn't make sense", you called it a fad. I'm not offended in the least, I'm not a fan of blanket criticism without fact.
-
No one asked you to justify anything and no assertions were made. The OP asked if Paleo was worth it and people posted personal experiences. I have no clue when this became about you, I must have missed that post. ETA - All diets exclude certain foods :/
-
Really? You knocked Paleo without anything to back it up. I dont recall anyone knocking anyone elses diet. I read people pointing out the attributes of of Paleo.
-
Healthy eating can always be replicated, it takes commitment.
-
It's not a fad diet, it's a different approach to what you eat. Don't knock it til you try it. I follow many of the paleo principles but I am not super regimented. I consider myself paleo-esque ;)

Exactly! You can debate this topic and second guess another persons motivation but it still boils down to them being selfish / self centered.
