I just restarted and with the intense heat in the south have realized I need even more salt too. Good luck!

Check out these tips on why our gym endurance may be affected for awhile. http://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/side-effects#performance

I went lo-carb years ago, lost 35 lbs and kept it off for a couple of years. At the time I didn't work and went to the gym everyday too which helped. Went back to a desk job, neglected the gym, my self and many other things. Fast forward and I weigh more than when I gave birth. Restarted but with a keto plan and haven't…

Sounds like your doing it all right. Is it possible you are more dehydrated than you realize? The normal 8 glasses per day won't suffice for an active keto follower. Try upping your hydration and perhaps including an electrolyte pack in your gym water bottle. I was nervous about the additional carbs but realized a few…

You are so beautiful, but even more impressive is the long-term commitment you've made to your health and wellness. I've been on a similar journey that is taking much longer than I'd like and just recently returned to MFP. Each day I'm inundated with quick-fixes, trending diets, cleanses, etc that promise results without…

Hi! I'm just beginning the program but would love a buddy to share recipes and tips with. I've got about 50 lbs to lose but am breaking it up into 10% goals so I stay motivated. I also have a teenage son and can commiserate! :p Feel free to add me as a friend. :)

LOVE THIS! :p

Well over 40 and the pounds have steadily creeped on to the point its just not 'cute' anymore. I've got about 50 lbs to lose, but I'm focusing on my first 10% so I can break it down into smaller goals. If you are positive, supportive and have a sense of humor about life - feel free to add me a as friend!

What a difference! Do you mind if I ask how tall you are?

Waiting for my package to arrive, but already shopped and prepped some today to get into the 'mindset'. Add me a friend if you'd like to share recipes, tips and motivation!

Same boat here, doc recommends losing 50 lbs but I'm breaking it into smaller goals of 10% at a time so I stay motivated! Working on a goal right now of 17 lbs. Feel free to add me!

Hey! I'm on Day 3 of a juice cleanse and would love to have new friends, recipes and support! I agree with Carebears, keep the Negative-Nellies away!

So inspiring and just what we all need to see more of here - POSITIVITY & SUCCESS!

What a great feeling, good for you! And really, that was TWO NSV's ... the run and the chat!

Hysterical!

Reality check time! You say you've lost 40 pounds so far? Do you have any idea how many of us on MFP see that as INSPIRATION and aspire to be like you? I once read that life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you react to it. Chose not to react, it makes bullies powerless. Don't hate it, don't worry about it,…

Love it! You look really fit and strong, but feminine - great work! Thanks for inspiring us all

Me too! I don't want to to have to hide behind the tree .. lol!

I'm a fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series and am reading the Fiery Cross now. It's drags a bit in some spots which I didn't feel in the previous novels but I'm such a fan of the world she's created that I keep reading it!
-
Hey! You are off to a great start. Lets keep each other motivated!
-
Good for you - and thanks for inspiring the rest of us. I'm starting at about the same weight and its motivating to see someone else succeed at this in a healthy way. I love that you did it thru consistency, eating cleaner and working out. Reminds me that there are no quick fixes, but there are amazing results for the hard…

Hi Lorraine - I also TTapp and came across your post about how to log. Currently I log it as Calisthenics, and break it up between light/moderate and vigorous times. For example, today I did the 15 minute Basic+ DVD which I counted as 15 minutes of light/moderate cardio. Then I did Hit the Floor which I counted as 24…

I know how you feel. Even when we know logically we should't listen to other peoples nonsense, it still stings. Hang in there!

Don't feel insecure around her, she sounds like a bully. Now that she can't insult your weight she'll just have to find something or someone else to insult. Bullies never change. :(
