Great I know how you feel I started 5ks last year an now this year I've done 2 10ks an still have 1 more 10k an a 5k if you told me 2 years ago I would be running I would of said your nuts so keep on going an good luck

that is awesome man you should do a 5k walk or run they are a blast an you meet a lot of great people keep it up I'm 53 weighed 280 when I started was facing diabetes an back surgery on my lower back I now weigh 217 an have no more issues with my back or the diabetes

ditto what everyone else said I experience the same thing gain 1 to 2 lbs. after running long distance an then after awhile it returns an goes down

I had the same problem it is going to hurt especially when you first start but if you are having constant pain you should cut back take it slow an I found that eat bananas or take a potassium supplement helps to an get a good pair of running shoes

I run 3 times a week but if you are just starting a good app to use on a smart phone is c25k it will help you build up to your goal I use it to train for my first 5k that im running this month in 15 days an I used a treadmill an ran in my neighborhood

Ok you and I are in the same boat going to finish week 3 indoors going to start week 4 out side im on vac june1 so I thought that would be a good time to try an the last time I ran outside was back in high school which was many moons ago lol:laugh: so if I don't fall down or something it should be all good

can u tell me how u got started training for your marathons I would love to be able to do one I have been running on a treadmill about 5 times a week trying to build up my legs been running 30 mins a day at 3 miles an hour at a 6% incline:smile:

just put your self in the car in a empty parking lot practice different maneuvers' until you feel comfortable with each maneuver then move on to the next one that how I got a few drivers who where trying to get there cdls(commercial driver license) just cut them lose in a parking lot but don't start driving until you feel…

I found that it take about a week or 2 for your body to adjust but before I started I had a complete physical by my doctor an talked to him about what I should do

Ive used both an I found that the ea sports active is more intense an you have more choices the only bad thing they took down the servers so you can no longer get online with it but all in all it is a great program
