I feel your pain. Could you wear a shaper on days like that? They aren't particularly comfortable, but sometimes it makes your clothes look a lot better. Hang in there!! Don't give up.....you can do this!

If you track everything you will learn what does "hurt" or not "hurt" and be able to make safer choices when you are out. Some weekends are good, some are more indulgent, it really is the bigger picture that matters though. What does Monday look like? Yes, I agree that planning is the key. If I get home from work on Friday with no plans for meals and nothing decent to eat, we will eat out every meal. We like to have a nice dinner together with wine on Friday and Saturday nights, so when he wants pancakes for breakfast on Saturday, I eat a small one and have some egg…

Everything except lettuce.....I don't count lettuce...I mean how much is a "cup" of lettuce.... All other things definately!

A little bite of everything that I truly enjoy....and regular portions of those things that are the most healthy. A long walk on those days should help too! Getting into a great holiday outfit makes all the food a little less meaningful to me.

Don't let one day do you in.....it's just a day....out of thousands....a blip on the radar....you are better than that!!! Find yummy foods you enjoy every day that fit in your calorie range. Or you can even up your calories a little bit ..... slower loss....but more sustainable..... Today is all you have...make it count...…

I'm 5'9 and 172...I'm a size 10 on top and 14 on the bottom...guess why I want to lose weight???? I just want my top and bottom to match...probably 145 -150 will do it... :) Thanks for the thread!

My 2cents...I think it's the type of food you are eating. Clean up your foods and I bet you see a big difference. Also, as others have said, it looks to me like you may not be calculating your homemade foods exactly.....just a thought. Hang in there....you can do this...but you have to be willing to make the effort to eat…

I find the statement about mushrooms a little odd. I have always eaten mushrooms raw on salads, etc. Am I missing something?

I don't feel I can succeed at this unless I get to the point where I like myself as I am on any given day (yes, there are days we don't, but overall..)
