you are always going to bounce around a little, and some of that loss could be due to water weight that could come and go. but the only reason it would come back all the way to 140 would be if you start eating at a calorie surplus again.

i would just put walking briskly and call it good. Alternatively, .... what is the difference between "walking" and "walking with stroller"? Is it significant? If not, don't bother trying to figure it out, you are splitting hairs. If it is significant, you should take the "walking briskly" and add the percentage variance…

I tried snorting coke once. the carbonation almost killed me

I think it is just that you are sweating more. If it is cold, your body will burn cals trying to keep warm. I don't think it goes the other way. Sweat is not fat leaving the body

glad I was able to help :D

stop being a lazy slacker and get your *kitten* up off the couch and get to work!!! you asked
-
wow
-
wow, I got to the first "loss" pic and said "holy *kitten*" well done, you rocked it
-
that URL doesn't work. once you get the correct URL to the pic, you have to wrap it in the tags.... BUT IMG must be in lower case never mind, i guess you changed it to facebook

just keep walking too. If you can't do a full mile yet, do what you can. do it tomorrow, do it the day after, etc. Before you know it, that same distance won't feel so hard, so then add a couple tenths (or just one). When you add the tenth, just do that exact distance repeatedly for a while until it is easy.... then add…

have fun!! remember that you probably won't do too much at first. start slow and work your way into it. if you hurt yourself, or just over do it and ache too much, you are less likely to do it again. for what its worth, I guess what I do is sort of HIIT. Its a combo of cardio and strength building with alternating levels…

opinions are like..... well, you know. So far you've gotten plenty of good ones here. Unfortunately there is a lot of narrow mindedness when it comes to working out. Everyone thinks their routine is the right routine. For them maybe it is, but it might not be for you. Obviously there are things that will work better for…

One of the options you select when using the calculator is your activity level throughout the day. I personally selected sedentary because I sit at a desk all day. So, the calculator suggests I eat 1700 calories per day based on my age, weight, height, goal, and sedentary setting. This is my goal without any additional…

the best exercise is the one you will do.... I think this is a great way to burn calories. If you are looking to get ripped, or get the hard body like you see the lifters get, you should not rely just on this. But, if you are just looking to burn some calories, and want to have fun doing it, this is great. My wife and I do…

exactly. I don't run, so I don't run with my dogs. But, I do take my dogs out on the trail, and one of them doesn't play well with others at all. This one guy couldn't understand why I was screaming "get away" at his dog when it was running up on us.
-
it wasn't specifically directed at you, no. This is a real sensitive subject for me though, so it was directed towards anyone that makes the conscience decision to break the leash laws and put their dog at risk (not to mention others)
-
please pick up your dogs crap, provide water, and use a leash. To those of you that think your dog is properly trained, you better be sure. If your unleashed dog runs up on my LEASHED dog, you could end up with a dead dog. This would be my dogs doing, not me. I'm responsible to put him on a leash, but I can't control your…

what about getting some over the counter insert? I hear the Superfeet implants help a lot of folks with that condition. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KKTPD8/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

what does common sense tell you to do? I'd listen to that, it is usually right.
-
nothing wrong with that at all. As you lose weight and improve your overall health, you will need to put in more effort to get the same level of calorie burn.

unless you are going way over because of processed sugar, don't worry about it.
-
if the sugar is coming from raw whole fruits, then don't worry about it.
-
A reasonable argument.
-
I essentially agree with everything else you said, but in the quoted section above, how about proving it? There seems to be endless information counter to what you are saying here. Why or how is it that you know better?
-
how many calories you burn is dependent upon your age, weight, fitness level, and workout intensity. that said, in watching this video, I'd say, not much. Burning calories and fat is about getting your heart rate to certain levels. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the routine you point out, but its pretty low…

TRAINING ZONES Healthy Heart Zone (Warm up) --- 50 - 60% of maximum heart rate: The easiest zone and probably the best zone for people just starting a fitness program. It can also be used as a warm up for more serious walkers. This zone has been shown to help decrease body fat, blood pressure and cholesterol. It also…

some people around here can be real jerks and they wan't to correct everyone for everything they say. "tone" works for me. I get it.
-
good grief, you used the "tone" word. I'm sure someone will take issue with that stay tuned on that front I work out seven out of nine days. I know, sounds weird. I'm not 100% religious about that though. Since I'm on a weird 4/1/3/1 schedule, I get workout days that fall on weekends, and I might have done something else…
