I have a Phillips Air Fryer and it's in use almost every day. I use it to make chips and crisp up the skins on jacket spuds that I've microwaved and its great for the other halves breaded things like scampi and fish fingers. I've found that it smokes a little if I'm cooking really fatty things like sausages or bacon in it…

Looking for a few like minded friends. I average around 10k steps a day [with quite a bit of effort!] and use my FB HR both for increased fitness and weight loss too. Random thought of the day. I am thinking of marketing the SCARY MOVIE DIET PLAN as last time I watched a really spooky film I got so scared that my heart…

Hi there, Glad you asked this as I have only had my HM for a few weeks and was wondering the best way around this. What I've been doing is:_ Take the FB off - I leave it on - no stop watch or anything - and then I work out and record the calorie burn. I then manually add the BALANCE of calories from the FB figure and my…

Have no problem with the data I get off of my FBCHR - I even tested it against the figures I was getting with my BodyMedia armband and they produce almost identical burn stats when I exercise. I log my food and any swimming I do here on MFP and use the data produced by my FB to calculate my total calorie burn for the day.…

I confess I once, in a moment of chocolate craving madness, ate some of my dog's specialised Doggy Chox Treats Also I would have eaten more if they had tasted nice *blush* They tasted like how I imagine a chocolate scented candle would taste...sort of waxy and synthetic I confess that I haven't actually tried eating a…

I just posted a pasta recipe using Dolmio Hot Salsa but I also use it on chicken thighs. I skin them, seal them in a hot frying pan sprayed with a little oil, season them then wrap them in foil with a heaped tablespoon of Dolmio Salsa [16 cals for 40grams...plenty for a thigh] I then pop them in the oven for about 30 mins…

I love cooking but am doing two different work contracts at the moment so it means I have to get up at 4am most mornings. By the time I get home I don't always fancy cooking so pasta is a great quick meal for me. My quick cheat when I don't have time to cook uses wholewheat pasta, I cook it al dente, drain it and then add…

I regularly do YouTube Kettlebell workouts...once you know how to swing'em safely you can pretty much follow any workout and some are just sooooo funny. I've got the Kettleworx 8 week DVD set which cost me almost 80 quid with the kettlebell but it was really worth it to learn how to properly hold and move with the weights…

I like good old fashioned porridge oats with a sprinkling of nuts and seeds, some dried fruit and a drizzle of honey from my bees....it comes in at a fairly high 400 cals but keeps me filled up until late afternoon. I also like eggs served as an omelette with chopped veggies and chillies

Hi there, I've just started the Kettleworx 8 week programme. I've only just done the very first cardio one and found it really fun. I was a bit worried as I'm not the most co-ordinated of people and gave my shins a few clunks with the kettlebell doing the figure 8 through the legs exercise....kept wanting to pass it round…

Do you know the calorie count of these? If not I will plug it into the recipe calculator as they sound delish! Thanks for posting

LMAO - Fantastic  Maybe an all over body wax would help?

I try and avoid having alcohol too often when I'm trying to lose even when within my calorie target as I find it lowers my will power and affects my judgment! I tend to want to follow a few dozen vodkas with a kebab and a snog with a dodgy bloke  x

I make BLTM wraps, grill the bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms [I sometimes dry fry the mush and toms in a pan with a splash of Tamari/soy sauce and a teaspoon of water] then I wrap them up in a lettuce leaf with some HP sauce [like A1 sauce] and eat it like a regular tortilla wrap I also like to do a big cooking apple and…

Errm Thanks...I did say that I was going to search for recipes on the Internet in my post. I was after some low fat recipes that have been tried and tested by MFP's based on the ingredients I had but thanks anyway

I steam mine in the microwave and then make up an Ainsley Harriott Mulligatawny soup and pour it over the top....instant...well almost instant vegetable curry. I also pop them into my slow cooker with a low calorie jar of sauce like creamy mushroom or spicy tomato and use them as a base for a grilled chicken or fish as a…

I've got a Rosemary Conley Yogurt maker and about once a month I start a new batch of yogurt from culture and then use yogurt made from this as a starter for my next batch. I make sure I have quite a good quantity in each new batch and add a few spoonfulls of organic milk powder which I find gives a thicker yogurt. I;ve…
