I just completed week 2 of 6 on the KettleWorx program. I'm getting good results so far! Is anyone else doing this or has anyone else done it? I'm interested in hearing other people's experience with it. :)

Hi there, I've just started the Kettleworx 8 week programme. I've only just done the very first cardio one and found it really fun. I was a bit worried as I'm not the most co-ordinated of people and gave my shins a few clunks with the kettlebell doing the figure 8 through the legs exercise....kept wanting to pass it round the back and through the front instead of the other way round! :D fact

I liked the fact that apart from a few 15 second rests to grab some water it kept you moving for the whole 20 minutes so I was pretty impressed with how quickly the time passed.

I was surprisingly achey the next 2 days [more legs and bum than arms but I could still really feel it in my shoulders and upper back as well as lower body]The instructions were nice and clear and I liked the fact that the re were modified exercises for the less fit of us.

I am doing the CORE one tomorrow [week one of 8 workouts] and am going to wear my FitBit Charge HM plus my BodyMedia activity tracker to see how many calories I burn in 20 mins

Am hoping that I will be able to stick with it for the whole 8 week duration although think I might need more than one days rest between sessions after doing the cardio one until I get my fitness levels up a bit so my plan is to do 2 days rest after Cardio and one days rest after the others....mind you, if the second DVDs are as hard as the Cardio it might take me longer than 8 weeks to work through....not that I'm in a rush!

Congrats on the start of the program! I may have to check that one out, as I'm on the six week program they came out a while ago now. I know I'll be in the market for a new program to start, and while the dialogue on the six week is a little cheesy, I like to crank my music so that I can barely hear what he's saying. That serves as enough of a distraction for me
