just googled her. i didn't know she was the co-founder of bodyrock. bodyrock.tv can be a great resource (quick workouts for free) i did some in the past and they were quite good, but i just found myself falling off the wagon. seeing their website now, they've made something new called the dailyhiit.com.

I like spinning, because I enjoy biking..I tried Zumba for a while, but it's not hard enough for me. I like things to feel challenging, dancing just doesn't feel the same as working up a sweat running my hardest. You know?

hey! i'm 5' and 146! at school i would do about an hour of cardio too, but also do some weight training. more muscle to burn fat with, yeah? unfortunately i don't have the links right now but i did do some reading that observed weight training + cardio saw better results than cardio alone.

i was very self conscious of being the "only asian with curves" in school..but as i'm exercising i'm starting to actually love them instead of hiding them away.

Health has socioeconomical factors. Ever realize how all the unhealthy food is dirt cheap? When you're struggling to make money, you're going to choose what is easiest/quickest to prepare as well as costs the least.

I'm a size 8/10 too! I wanna know what its like to be smaller than that though, not really a place to return to. Feel free to add! Also a college student.

I have been overweight my entire life; all during high school I was struggling to hit 1.2k calories a day. I was just never hungry. I attribute it to never eating regularly and always skipping breakfast, however.

When i see any size bag of chips available for my consumption, I take it as a challenge to finish it. =[ I used to get reprimanded for not finishing my food, so its hard for me to stop even when I'm full.

18 year old culinary arts major, feel free to add =]

Everything is okay in moderation. With that being said, I had to take a pretty rigorous 6 week college course on nutrition with a whole unit dedicated to fake sugars. (Culinary arts major. Nutrition is part of my career) Sucralose (Splenda) is the only sugar substitute that is actually derived from sugar. It doesn't have…

I'm a culinary school student. I post my class pictures on FB so my family and friends can see what I'm up to. Plus I'm proud of what I do.

Amazing smile =]

It gets dark at around 5pm here now. The gym is a 15 min walk from my dorm as well. I try to do some simple exercises in the 3 foot floor space I already have

I do. if what MFP gave me is the amount i need to lose anything, why not?

I don't say so, but if my family notices that I don't go for the 4th slice of pie at Thanksgiving dinner like previous years, they always ask. i don't say I'm losing weight, but more of a "change in lifestyle."

Crap in a can? That's the real stuff too!! I'm from the Philippines and when you don't live close enough to the beach, that delicious healthy stuff gets canned up and shipped out to the city. Unless by crap in a can you're meaning to say the coconut milk? I am unsure if they can green coconut juice in America.

I'm taking a nutrition course right now as a culinary major, and I could cite the whole chapter on artificial sweeteners. They're okay, just like everything else, IN MODERATION. And individuals with PKU should stay away from most. If you allow some to add up, for example xylitol, it can have a bad effect on your digestive…

Hey! I'm in Hyde Park attending school. Feel free to add me to help motivate!

Hey, I'm 18 and a full time student at a culinary college. Taking nutrition and guess that was the first motivator to get in shape. Feel free to add me =]

I like Oikos plain with honey. I will ONLY eat Chobani with the fruit on the bottom. I have never had Fage, the packaging puts me off for some reason. For me, Oikos is more texturally pleasing as greek yogurt, but I'm a college student, so I'll work with whatever is on sale.

my parents used to tell me "Erika, if you don't lose weight, boys aren't gonna like you."

Albatrosicks and Infected Mushroom.

I'll join you =]

Yep, I'm a Culinary Arts major. My kitchen classes go from 12 noon to 8:30pm or later. Since being here I'm pretty good with eyeballing what is an ounce, or a cup, or 4oz, etc. As for trying to eat 3-5x a day, I can usually fit in 3 meals, but thats really struggling-- my stomach is trying to yell at me to stop! I usually…
