I have been doing the 16:8 method for about 3 weeks now, lost 4 pounds the first week, now nothing. It is easier to maintain a calorie count for the day with this method. I do want to lose more, but was also trying to realize the benefits that are outlined here as well.…

I also drink coffee ( black) and do an AM workout during the fast time. I am hoping it will help regulate sugar cravings which I have horribly around 3:00 pm when I am eating 5-6 small meals a day.

Anyone still doing this and want to revive this thread? I started this past Sunday, am on Day 4 of the 16:8 cycle. It's not hard to do, however I find myself starving right now....and there are 3 more hours to go before I can eat. Any suggestions? Does this go away eventually?

Hi, How many servings is this and did you figure out calories per serving etc?
-
for 6 oz I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder, some chopped walnuts, and mix well.

I use a banana instead of pureed pumpkin and it works just as well. Also put in a scoop of vanilla protein powder, and sometimes all natural applesauce, or greek yogurt. Lots of ways to do this....they are not as good as "normal" oatmeal cookies, but are easy and very healthy.

You can add me if you'd like, I am 5'3, 138, started out at 148, this site really helps!

Ok, so I made these this morning, with 1 cup rolled oats, added a scoop of vanilla protein powder, and 1 teas of pumpkin pie spice. I made 6 cookies. The recipe calculator says they are 78 calories each. I packed one in my lunch today and will see how it is later and if any "tweeks" are needed. thanks for posting this!

Hi, I also do not have instant oatmeal in packets, but regular rolled oats....what is the measurement of the oats?

I'm really boring.. around 6:15 am .I eat a slice of spelt toast w/all fruit jam, and a turkey sausage pattie...every day. It keeps me full until around 9:30 10:00, then I have a hard boiled egg.
