I keep going over on my calories too even though I'm still under 20g carbs. I am not losing as fast as I was and I was wondering if going over my calories could contribute to that? I always thought calories didn't matter on keto?

It helps me sleep! I was also getting leg cramps when I laid down and once I started taking magnesium, they stopped.

Keto/Low Carb is the only thing that has worked for me. I do not feel like I want to eat constantly while doing so. I try my best to stay under 40g net carbs a day but always shooting to go as low as possible. Some days it is just not doable so I still try to stay under 40g.

I'm hungry even doing low carb on met. I have read some testimonies of people that says it takes 1 month of taking it for it to subside. I hoping they are right because if not I will stop taking it bc I already have a weight problem!

I am also a huge fan of Zoodles. I used zucchini mostly. I also will use English cucumbers and make Cuke-Noodles to make a pasta salad. I just add oil/vin and herbs to it. YUMMO!

This is so inspiring! I am going to adjust my numbers and try again b/c the low fat isn't working. 1 more question-Are you finding this success with Diet change only or is it diet change + meds (i.e. metformin, inositol etc.)

I have read that caffeine takes away from the inositol. I'm going to have it in my water going forward just in case. :)

I take Metformin ER and BCP with dinner. Then I take 1/4 tsp Inositol in my morning coffee. I have spiro but I haven't started taking it yet. Are you taking myo-inositol or d-chiro-inositol? I take Myo. Are you using pills or powder? I use the Jarrow powder on Amazon. How much are you taking and how often? 1/4 tsp in the am. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being best), how would you rate the effectiveness of this for you? 8 bc it does everything Metformin did for me…

I am blown away, the dr mentioned it before I did. Apparently, it's not approved yet so insurances won't cover it. They are working on getting it approved.
