Thanks Rocamor and true, I do take the bike to the barn more often, I picked up Salsa dancing (which I really LOVE!) and I dance at least twice a week and go to a salsa-party at least once per month. When I walk the dog I try to keep up a brisk pase. I log less 'cause I have to stop to let my dog do his business, but…

Thanks everyone. Need to lose at least 10 more kilo's but last year I never thought I would ever get this far, so I'm already very happy with what I've accomplished so far.

Wow!! I applaud you!! You pushed your limits, both physically as mentally, even though your first responce was running away from it. You're an inspiration to others who don't try new things because they think they can't do it or because of what others might think (myself included, I want to learn to scoobadive one day, but…

I've lost 50 lbs by now and especially people who haven't seen me in a while compliment me all the time at the moment. I'm loving it and although I used to feel awkward getting compliments and always responding with things like 'Thanks, but I'm not even half way' or 'Thanks, but I still have a long way to go', I now try…

I'm going to quote myself... followed this thread for inspiration and now I'm already half way of losing the weight (halfway to my firs goal, 'cause after seing all the amazing results here, I've set a second goal as well ) and able to post pics myself. First pics I took 2 weeks after I started, second set of pics I took…

Print out some old pictures of yourself and put them on your fridge and where you store 'bad' foods. You DON'T want to go back there! Also keep buying groceries like you're still on a diet. It takes about 2 years to create new eatinghabits so if you lost the weight in less time, your new habits aren't 'set' in your brain…

Thanks, I feel like a different person too, that's for sure. Can't wait to lose the rest too!

What an amazing pictures here from everyone! Great job! I just made a new picture for my CV and Linked In page last monday. The first picture was made before I started losing weight and the second is with 37 pounds less. Not even half way but getting there...

Thanks everyone :D It sure makes me feel good about myself that I'm finally succeeding in losing weight. Soniabogonia, I didn't change that much actually. I just started logging my food here and after two days I saw that, although I wasn't eating large amounts of food, I could make better choises in the things that I ate,…

Hi, I'm 45, mother of an almost 18 year old son and on the way of losing 40.5 kg (almost 90 lbs).

When I clicked the link to MFP that a friend sent me, I wasn't in the right mindset to start losing weight at all. Sure, I wánted to start and I wánted to lose weight, but just couldn't get started. Just out of curiosity I made an account here and thought 'oh well, let's see what I ate today' and started logging the food I…
