I love weigh-in day to see how everybody is doing. So many of you have had great weeks! I am at 199.4 which is .2 over last week. But considering I was hanging back out in the 200's most of this week, I'm glad to be back in the 190's. This was a great week for adding exercise for me...I've worked out at the gym 5 days this…

Thanks for this link...I read the blog you referenced about gaining weight and feel like I might be in that category. I just started working out as we started this challenge and previous times when I would join the gym, I never experienced weight loss even though I was getting more fit. This week my weight seemed like a…

Last time I was at Sam's Club, the had a package w/2 PVC balls (about the size of a small grapefruit) and a book called the Miracle Ball Method. I've been doing some of the exercises (basically strategically placing the balls under your neck, back, hips, shoulders, etc. and breathing properly and letting your weight relax…

SW: 206 Jan 7: 203 CW: 203.4 Hmm...I think I'm on the right track ...my eating is on track and I'm upping the exercise; just didn't lose weight! I will be counting on a loss for next week. Planning to up the water. Does it matter if I drink Vitamin water (my preference) versus plain water? Does it have any negative effect?

Woohoo is right! Keep it up and enjoy your date this weekend!

Hmm...I wonder about something. I know they say if women live together often their TOM tend to adjust and get in sync. As I read so many of these posts I'm starting to wonder if it can happen through a challenge group on a message board? :noway: Getting ready to start....:blushing:

Thanks for your suggestions and congratulations on your weightloss. I pretty much flat-lined this week but I know my eating is much improved and my exercise is coming around so I will just be patient! One of my goals is to get off my blood pressure medication. I ran out two days ago and checking my BP w/o meds. Day 2 and…

Interesting question...just googled it and mozzerella (part skim) is 150 mg...not too bad. Whole milk mozzerella is lower in sodium (106 mg) but higher in fat and calories. Mozzerella was the lowest sodium cheese of the ones I looked up. My favorite on pita pizzas is feta cheese but it is a little higher...316 mg. Enjoy!

I'm meeting someone at a Mexican restaurant tomorrow evening. Thanks for the head's up! I better do my homework.

Long day of commitments but did fairly well today. Got a work out in but not until 9:00 pm and that seems to mess w/my sleep when they are that late at night. Contacted a personal trainer today and after our conversation, I will be joining one of the local fitness centers where she will set up my program and then I will…

I'm still trying to decide when, where and how to exercise. Mostly w/Wii and putting off gym membership until I am more settled about what direction I want to go. Contacted a personal trainer today that was referred to me (waiting for return call) and that may help decide on gym membership or not. Looking to add…

I can't even imagine...best laugh I've had in a week!

This is the first week since last spring (?) where I was intentional about exercising 5 of 7 days. That is something that's working. What isn't working is I haven't been planning an intentional time to work out and last night I did Wii Zumba for 25 minutes beginning at 11 PM. Didn't sleep a lick last night...almost called…

You've got the right attitude for success!

S2S SW: 206 CW: 203 Yay! 200 is a barrier weight for me...never got below it w/Weight Watchers but I'm eagerly anticipating the 190's (and 180's etc) with our s2s challenge. I so appreciate everyone's positive comments even on the tough days!

I was just an Army brat! Welcome to MFP!

I have been looking at my weight every morning and have been getting a little frustrated. It seems to be wobbling a little up, a little down. I don't know whether to check my weight weekly or every day to make sure I didn't "accidently" add 5 lbs. the day before. Updatewise...I'm staying up to late to get my exercise in so…

Stay encouraged! I just read your profile and was very inspired. You clearly are in this for the long haul and your perseverance is an encouragement and inspiration to others.

Up way too late but I wanted to exercise and log food before going to bed. Found the last copy of Wii Zumba in a 50 mile radius...yay! Tried the tutorial for "learning the steps" for 25 minutes of exercise and I will be in for a challenge! I was glad I was learning by myself because I'm afraid it would have looked pretty…
