I like to make my own using a little bit of water, lime juice, a little bit of apple cider vinegar and various spices. Tomato basil spice works great! VERY low calorie!

I have a protein shake. There are hundreds of flavor combinations so I never get tired of what I'm having and they all come out in the 200-300 calorie range. This morning it was carrot cake flavor! YUMMMY!

I like to keep healthy snacks on hand because I'm a snacker and I know I WILL snack!. One of my favorite things to do is to slice up an apple and bake it with cinnamon. It gives a nice dessert type feel but without all of the fat and calories.

I've always counted simply water. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I've heard that the caffeine in tea/coffee causes water retention so whenever I drink those kinds of things, I count them above and beyond my normal water. I also don't stick to 8 - 8 oz glasses per day. I stick by the rule of drinking half my body…

My favorite by far is Visalus Vi-Shape. Its gluten free and lactose free and is full of protein and nutrients. There are hundreds of flavor combinations to make anything from butterfinger to blueberry white chocolate cheesecake. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Something I love to do is to sit on a balance ball versus an office chair. You are working your abs practically the whole time you're sitting there and you can take crunch breaks every hour. :)

If I'm at a restaurant and I want to know the calorie count of a particular meal, I will ask my server. Typically they have a nutritional guide in the kitchen they can refer to. Rarely do I have someone come back without an answer.

I've tried lots of nasty protein powder. Many of the store bought ones have an after taste that lingers forever. I'm in love with the Vi-Shape mix from Visalus. Best I've ever had.

I haven't tried the Shred but I just started Ripped in 30 about a week ago. I couldn't make it through the first day. The second day was a little better. Then I crushed in on day three. YAY! I am amazed at how I can spend an hour in the gym and not get the same effects as 20 minutes with Jillian!
