In search of open diaries - I like borrowing ideas for my own feedings!

Always open to anyone with common interests or goals!

Jim - you're in a great place to help you get started!

45 and like a bunch of different activities.. on weight training now!

Having friends with the same healthy mindset is important to success! It can also feel a little overwhelming at times counting calories - but it's worth it and gets faster the longer you do it. If you need help just ask - someone will have an answer!

I'm 45 and have had my best years of health and fitness in my 40's, you have a lot to look forward to!

On my wrist every day! Which is great until I forget to charge it :p
-
So there are other Florida natives! Also looking forward to cool-down this weekend!

That's quite a comeback - and sounds like your 4 legged buddy had a good part in that!
-
Know the feeling - but I've discovered we aren't alone.. just outnumbered :P It's difficult sometimes to surround ourselves with like-minded people, but it can be done and is worth the effort. Posting this has you off to a good start! You've made amazing progress to date, give yourself the credit you deserve for that and…

6"3" - looks like you're still in the lead Josh!

It is tough, but don't you feel so good after you survive...err, complete a workout?? I did it through last year and got in great shape, I still do them for cardio between programs. I agree with H_Factor on the HRM...you'll need one to accurately measure what you're burning!

I'm late to the party - as usual - but just wanted to publicly add my congratulations! You inspire the whole lot of us - and provided much needed comic relief :P Now just have to talk you into a race down here !

This may be the most polite delivery of an opinion/advice I've ever seen in a forum, much respect.

No, sounds like a great idea! I've been adding some T25 cardio on some of our weight days, just because I want a little extra punishment every once in awhile :P And I agree with Jimmmer, if you're going to do them in circuit you can avoid the 1-2 minute rest time. You'll remain fatigued through the circuit, but will have…

Interesting you brought this up, was just studying over the different techniques for endurance vs strength vs growth. In general for endurance - three sets of 12-16 reps for each exercise with rest of 1-2 minutes between sets.

Vibrams!

Great idea!

Give it a couple weeks... you'll be able to take them :P
-
Was laughing - hopefully WITH you! - at your story... it sounds so familiar! Great to hear that you're not discouraged!
-
If you (safely) pushed yourself as hard as you can, then you are a success! At the end I still couldn't to everything for the day, but I was doing more than I did the first week, was stronger, and felt and looked better. That's your payoff!

Laughing at your description of 'walking funny or grimacing after each step'. I'm certain I told Sean T off during several workouts :)

Congratulations on what sounds like a very successful road to recovery. Having gone through what sounds like a very challenging last year can sometimes discourage a person. Would wish you luck but sounds like you have the determination to carry you through!

Great to see so many others doing this, feel free to add me!

When you do a round, click on My Exercises and then the Create Exercise button. Put in your numbers for that day, and then that exercise will be saved for you to use again in the future!
-
GREAT results - the most fulfilling 90 days of exercise ever! Glad to hear you'll stick with it, you'll be very glad you did!
-
Great start - keep pushing yourself! Are you logging all your food also? If not - please consider! I learned quickly that estimating led me to UNDERestimating what I was eating 99% of the time. If you are, consider sharing your diary with your friends. Knowing that they are keeping up with you helps keep you accountable.…
