  • Thanks so much! That really helps, I think I might put some money away and pick one up in a month or so. I find that i'm really active on days where I work, but when I'm not working I tend to just lie on the couch ALL day. Hopefully this'll be an accurate way to measure how much I move at work and a good way to motivate…
  • I'm also thinking of getting a Fitbit. This might be a stupid question but I know that it tracks the number and calories of steps and stairs that you take, but if i go running will it track those calories too? i.e. Will it be able to tell the difference between running 1000 steps or walking 1000 steps?
  • Wall pushups seem like a really good idea, maybe expand on that and try doing some wall squats as well? They look really easy but it takes quite a lot of effort. I work on a register and when there are no customers around I do sets of 20 calf raises and I'm really happy with how much more muscular my calves have become.
  • Sounds exactly like me. I'm 23 and I started gaining weight around 11 or 12 and even before that I always felt chunky and out of place. I have no idea what it feels like to feel like I'm the same size as my friends.
  • I tend to record my measurements every 5kg, but I usually see a bit of a reduction after about 2-3kg. The lower my weight is the less I have to lose to see a difference in centimetres.
  • This green mango smoothie is so good! Its really smooth, thick and creamy. 20g baby spinach ( you could easily add more or none) 170g pot of 2% fat mango chobani Greek yogurt 200ml of boost immunity juice (any juice is good) 200g of frozen mango Blend and drink. 387 calories.
  • Its really strange, no one tells you that you can lose fat in your feet. I've lost about 25kg and half a shoe size.
  • Its all down to genetics really, you won't find out till you loose the weight. I was DD at almost 100kg and now i'm a C at 76.5kg. Its a shame, I have a feeling that when I get down to a healthy weight i'll probably only be a B cup but the trade off is worth it.
  • I only looked back a week or so but It looks to me like you're eating waaayyyyy too low. I don't know your height and weight but you seem to be fluctuating between 800 cal - 1300 cal a day with a the occasional blow out. I'm 5'2" and I'm aiming to eat about 1400cal a day, and I eat back the calories I burn with exercise.…
  • I sometimes see the difference and sometimes I don't. I was always around 80kg as a teen and then I shot up to around 100kg and now i'm down to 76.5kg. I'm not sure if my self image now is really messed up or if I was still just seeing myself as the way I had always looked when I put on all that weight. Probably the…
  • You need to just make a few simple changes at a time. For example when I was 20kg heavier I was drinking 1-2 litres of full sugar coke a day. I forced myself to switch to Diet Coke until i liked the taste and then I worked on removing soft drinks from my daily diet. I now have 1 or 2 diet cokes a week and the rest of the…
  • Life just isn't worth living without being able to go out with friends for thai food and finish it off with a delicious scoop of ice cream (I'm a sucker for anything salted caramel, earl grey tea, burnt caramel or fig jam.I can't resist trying pretty much any flavour out of the ordinary) My other weaknesses are soft white…
