  • I went to the doctor and they said I have a strained rotator cuff and they referred me to a physical therapist. I am going to start cutting this week, trying not to feel to down about it. Nothing I can do.

  • I've been at it since the end of November. The only thing I'm going to be able to do until my arm is better is leg machines that doesn't require my to hold anything. I might have to consider cutting early. Hopefully I will be able to get into a physical therapist or something of the like.

  • @arditarose Christmas was probably the first time I had a surplus since starting hahaha. I'm glad the holidays are over so I can start to get a better look at what I should be doing. I didn't anticipate the mental road blocks that would come with it. I'm glad I am not alone.
  • I put moderate, the description is so vague I didn't know what to put. When I plug in with "light" it says 2044 and if I put "Desk job with no exercise" it says 1783. So, I don't know which one to use. I'm reversing dieting. Started at 1200 a day.
  • @arditarose Yeah, I haven't really put on any weight yet. This poundage was strictly from Christmas binge eating for 2 days. I ate nothing but cookies and peanut butter Bon Bons all day long. I know it has nothing to do with my normal diet.

  • Yes and no. I know that is true but my brain has not been accepting that today. Mentally I'm taking it a little rough. After coming off a year of weight loss this is a hard pill to swallow. I know it's just part of the process though.
  • @RobotPhysique It looks like I went to hard for Christmas, I had a 2 day Christmas binge and gained 7 pounds, I didn't even know that was possible. WOOPS! Fighting insecurities now haha. What are your goals?
  • I am working my way up, I have been upping my calories 100 per week. I started at 1200 so I initially gave my body time to adjust. My older brother acts as my trainer, he's trying to see how my body will respond to each increase. Weigh in is today, hopefully another calorie increase will come with it :D
  • This is my first bulk! I am 6 weeks in so far. I plan to bulk until the start of March and then cut until Summer. I am still sitting above 20% body fat so I have a ways to go to lean out.   • I appreciate you throwing in the fact about the bioelectric impedance test. There is one at my gym and I used yesterday to check after 3 months and it said my body fat went up. I thought that was a lie, I've lost another inch off of my waist since then.

  • How do you know how much you maintain on? I plan on just jumping straight to 1500, I chose that number because the contestants on biggest loser intake that much haha. Fantastic idea about adding more calories weekly, I would not have thought of that. What are you fitness goals?

  • I was 188 (got up to 193) at homecoming in the first picture and 160-162 for prom. I still have 20 or so pounds to lose, I want a flat tummy and right now i still have a huge gut, my dress was holding it in hehe :)
  • Dont get discouraged if your first plan of attack doesnt work, you may have to try different things or different variations of things but dont give up :) good luck!
