  • I am!
  • I guess I come from all over. I started at 1200, then I upped to 1600 calories, then I stopped tracking and starting eating intuitively. And then I stopped and started eating everything and anything in sight. Sad but true, so long story short. I haven't been counting calories or even logging what I eat since probably a…
  • I did plug it in. With 3-5 hours of moderate exercise it's giving me 1900 cals with a 10% calorie def. I have a hyperthyroid so I was wondering if I should eat slightly below since it is something that toys with my metabolism. I'm doing the c25k training so on running days I only run. On non running days I do workout dvds…
  • I've never been "thin". At one time, I was obese, I avoided all the numbers and scales like the plague, but if I want to be honest, I know those numbers said obese all over. Today I'm not "thin" but I am healthier, wayy healthier, and fit, or atleast working on it. I'm from Miami, and sometimes I see these little plastic…
  • looks good! thanks. I have lots of quinoa at home
  • I think you're right. Thanks for giving me a tops of the carbs since I wasn't sure of it. I will be refocusing on my recent struggles and continue at 1600 days. 60 g of fat and 110 of protein. And see how that goes. If you guys would like a 2 week update or a month update. I would like to follow up to see if I should…

  • Thanks, Sara. Here is my two week update: The first week, I went from 158 to 154 – I ate pretty normal to my usual homemade foods. Second week - It was a crazier week. I craved more carbs, ate out a bit more than usual, tried to go for healthy choices but am up back to 158. I know I could've eaten better, but at the same…

  • Nice. We seem to have somewhat the same measurements (as of last time I measured) but I'm 5'5. How often are you measuring?
  • OP, how was your first round result with 8/10/12? I just started ( I'm on week 2) but I'm using 10s because last week I did 5/8 and I didn't feel much of a work out. So, I'm doing 10 and am thinking of going higher when I feel comfortable. Also, I say go heavier. You lose nothing, give it a shot and update us!
  • I'm not a mom, but I truly think you look fantastic and you should embrace them.
  • It honestly takes the mind longer to catch up to your body. You will get there. Don't focus on when. Just maintain a healthy lifestyle and mindset. It WILL all fall into place xoxo
  • Indeed Thanks!

  • "This is the big dragon boss. Oh God help me!” #thedragonboss - the new name for my scale. thanks for the laughs.
  • You know, this happened to me Monday. It was w7d3. I was really energized and pumped up and I just wanted to go fast. So I tried doing intervals. I started playing around with my side. I than had to go down to a crawl, and I felt the exact same way. I stopped and walked a bit until I caught my breath. And I found running…

  • Prove your brain wrong. I think it's all mental, sans injury. Go slow, focus on breathing and pace. But when your mind starts telling you, you can't push yourself harder. Crawl if you need to, but push yourself. Your brain will give up long before your body. So, it seems like you've been letting your brain win. It's time…
  • lol good point. yikes! I'm sorry to hear. But it's not for it my dear. I'm just 26 and pretty clueless at life, but I learned to not sweat the small stuff. I don't let those who don't matter affect me. Now, if they do matter to me - that's a diff story.
  • Ugh! That's frustrating. They can do whatever they please with their bodies but I don't like how some people assume it's more for financial reasons than anything else. Stand your ground. lol I'm with ya! btw lol @ "the boob job neighor's husband" gotta love nicknames.
  • I think you have a point there about the assumption. Very true.
  • Thanks. I appreciate that and take it as a compliment <3
  • haha. Love your post comment. Nice to see someone who will keep them natural after the weight loss. woo! And she's not blonde. lol. But does have a self esteem/image issue. oh well.
  • She knows I can take criticism well and probably why she even says those things to me. I really wasn't complaining or anything, just sharing my experiences. I know comments like that can do harm to others, but it shouldn't. I've told her I'm not interested in plastic surgery she just keeps pushing the idea my way which is…
  • Exactly. And thank you :) right back atcha! I think you said it best. It was no harm on either side.
  • Yep. I agree. And it wasn't in a bad tone at all. And even if it was, that's okay. I can take it. Thank you!
