I'm on my second round of BR. I was doing push-ups on my knees the first go round but eventually I was able to progress to military style. My range of motion isn't as big as some of the guys on the DVD (Omar is practically kissing the floor!) but you'll work up to it eventually.

Do you have lighter weights you could use? Or maybe hold your weights down by your side until you feel strong enough to lift them over your head.

I felt like that the first time I did the programme. I'm now on my second go round and whilst I still find Phase 3 really hard, it is easier than when I first did it. I'm not modifying as much and I'm using heavier weights when I can. Don't be disheartened - like Jillian says, you start where you start and do your best. If…

Uggh, I'd forgotten about the side burpees! I have those to look forward to in the next few weeks. I basically hate all of Workout 5 - I hate the warm-up, the mountain climbers, the shoulder press with the cable... can't wait to be done with it tomorrow for a second time. i realised I actually quite like fast-feet this…

I wish she'd come to the UK!

I add a little 0% fat greek yoghurt to mine!

I'm terrible at anything that involves any sort of balancing - I end up falling all over the place so quite often have to put my foot down to balance.

IMO you should stop worrying about what the scales are telling you and concentrate on how you feel! I completed Jillian Michaels' 90 day programme last year and only lost a few pounds but dropped a dress size because I was burning fat and building muscle (I was a healthy weight to start with). I've now thrown out my scales…

Most definitely noticeable, well done! I've found that people who see me all the time - friends, family, colleagues, don't tend to comment as it's not so obvious when it's a gradual process and they're watching you go through it. I find it's people I haven't seen for a while who notice and mention it. Eventually people do…

I actually threw out my scales last week - not what most people are doing at this time of year I suspect! Over the last 3 years I've lost around 35lbs and 3 dress sizes. I know I'm now a healthy weight for my height. I eat well the majority of the time and exercise 6 days a week so why do I need to torture myself getting…

May of last year, last holiday I took.

I'm 5 workouts in and feeling ok, although I'm not quite sure why I thought it would be a good idea to do uppercuts with my dumbells this morning!

Personally I never set food in the place but this is an interesting experiment, particularly when you compare it with Supersize Me.

I eat chocolate pretty much everyday and it's not a problem (although I'm maintaining more than losing). I just have one or two small, good quality chocolates so that's enough for me. If I deprived myself of it completely, I'd end up binging on it. Jillian Michaels has said she eats chocolate everyday so if it's good…

Great results, well done!

I finished it a couple of weeks ago. I only lost about half a stone (although I'm a healthy weight anyway so wasn't really doing it for that), but I dropped a dress size and I'm stronger and fitter than I was when I started. As tough as I was, I think it's far to say I actually enjoyed it and I'm going to do another round…

I've been thinking about getting T25 for a while but I'm in the UK as well so Shakeology would cost me a fortune to buy. Is it like a protein shake or more like a meal replacement? Is there another product you could substitute for it?
-
I find it pretty tough - I certianly couldn't do it every day for an extended period as it's quite high impact (for me, anway). I was alternating it with her No More Trouble Zones workout for a while so I got some strength training it as well.
-
Great job, well done!
-
I'd say so!

I think you might be right, I'm not the most flexible person in the world (but then neither is Jillian!). I'm planning on doing her yoga workout once a week before starting BR in the new year so it'll be interesting to see if that helps.
-
I didn't lose a huge amount of weight (about half a stone) but I did drop a dress size, which I was quite happy with!

I did RI30 before doing BR (which I finished last week). I didn't feel like I was taking a step back; BR is pretty tough from the start and progresses quite quickly so I would recommend starting from the beginning. There are several moves/exercises when she gets some of them to pick up weights e.g. jumping lunges so you…

Hmm, maybe I do have my feet too far away - I'll try bringing them in a bit further next time I try them! It's really frustrating but it is quite reassuring that a lot of them are struggling with it too! Hopefully I'll have cracked it by the time I get to them in my second round in the new year. Thanks!

I don't know CLX but I'm just coming to the end of JMBR and I've really seen a difference in my shape, strength and endurance. She's not as shouty in it as some of her other DVD's, I think becoming a Mom must have mellowed her!
-
I would say go with RI30 out of the two, it works you harder and you only do each level for 5/6 days instead of 10 which gets really boring!

Chicken, turkey Almond butter Oats Greek yogurt with fruit Almond milk Whole wheat pasta And the occasional piece of chocolate so I don't feel like I'm depriving myself!

I use it a lot, mainly for porridge and smoothies. I'm not sure I've actually ever drunk it on its own so I couldn't actually tell you what it tastes like!
