Thanks for the nice comments! I did it by sticking to a 1200 calorie diet (most days...I definitely allowed myself several "cheat" days). I basically just make sure to burn more calories than I take in. I don't do much weight lifting. My exercise has been all cardio. I go for walks or jogs and love to take classes at the…

I try and do cardio about 4-5 times a week. I really enjoy taking my son for walks so I would get him in the stroller and walk about 5 miles... I like walking. Its not hard form me, but if I take long enough walks I really see results. It also seems like I see results when I try not to snack after dinner... which is really…

I gained my weight when I was pregnant with my first baby... I thought the weight would come off on its own but I quickly learned that it didn't. Eating for me was by far the biggest factor.Other 5'8 gals... whats your goal?

I am 5'8. It took me about 5 months... I have tried to stay around 1200 calories/day and I have just been doing cardio up to this point... running, walking, or going for bike rides. Now I want to find some good work outs that can help me tone. Good luck... I know you can do it!

Finished day 6! My husband did it with me... I can't believe how much easier its getting. My endurance is MUCH better than when I started!

I haven't had a chance to do day 6 yet but I am going to...even if I have to do it late tonight! Is everyone doing it on Sunday's too or are you taking a rest tomorrow? I can't decide. I normally dont exercise on Sundays... what do you all think?

Finished day 5!! Feeling really good and I can feel my body getting stronger! I decided to just see if I have lost inches yet... and I have! Its very motivating!

I think its a great idea to post weekly weigh ins! I took my before measurements yesterday and took before pictures...I hope I see some improvement! Its crazy how much having this board motivates me... each day I look forward to hearing how everyone is doing with it! Thanks!!

Just finished day 2!! I decided to get it done this morning so I won't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I feel good! Thanks for the encouragement everyone!!!

I just finished my level one workout for today...I made it through! For me the first circuit is the hardest.... I had to do the push ups on my knees. I am really glad that everyone is doing this with me, it really pushes me because I know you are all doing it too! 1 day down...29 to go! :)

The 30 Day Shred is a work out DVD from Jillian Michaels. (She is the female trainer from the Bigest Loser) It is a really good workout and it only takes 20 minutes a day! And I bought the DVD for $14.99 at Sports Authority. All you need is the DVD, and some hand weights. Its great you guys should do it!
