Weight lifted (free weights) 70 minutes, ran three miles.

Thank you everyone for the advice! Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I will definitely be packing a lunch bag of healthy foods that I can eat on the run. All of the ideas are very helpful! Working as a nurse is so busy it is hard to find time to be healthy!

Lol love this!

Nope, not pregnant.

Welp I never imagined this many people would respond. Merry Christmas everyone. I took a test yesterday and I'm not pregnant. I then went to the doctor and they concluded the throwing up is due to being stressed (grad school, starting a new job). Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement. I am kinda sad I'm not…

That is a definite possibility. Lol I will be buying a test tomorrow. The hubby would be shocked. I guess I will see what happens :)

Lol if it's a baby.... As I previously stated I will be going to the doctors. I am not asking for a diagnosis, I was asking to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
-
I have never been diagnosed with any gastrointestinal diseases or anxiety. It's just weird because I didn't used to throw up ever. I guess I will be scheduling an appointment. Thank you!

What exactly do people mean when they say think body composition?

Thank you everyone. I love weight lifting but don't have a gym right now! When I lift I do lift kinda like a man. Starting out I can bench 100, squat 225, and dead lift around 325. At first I make gains quickly then it slows down. I can't wait to get into lifting again! It is one of my favorite things! And yes, it is…

Lol I just got done tidying up haha. Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement, I was not expecting that! I guess I will make my first goal 145 so I get into the healthy range then see what happens and how I feel! I am excited to start weight lifting again (and when I lift I lift heavy). Thank you for all the…

Thank you so much for the responses, I'm going to go to Target and buy a Champion one and see how it goes! Thank you!!

Its a great field!

I'm in a masters nurse practitioner program! I'm ready to get in shape and also be a good role model for my patients.

Thank you for all the replies and suggestions! I am going to start telling people my goal is to be fit and healthy rather than telling them a weight. I feel that I have an average sized frame so I think I can be 125 and look good. I used to be this weight before college so I am hoping to get back to this weight. I want to…

Currently my BMI is 25.8, I am overweight. At 125lbs my BMI will be 20.8, a healthy weight. There is just such a huge range of weight that is considered "healthy." My best friend who keeps telling me I will look sick if I am that small is 5'6 118. She just keeps telling me, "I look fine, but YOU will look too small." I…

I am also a nursing student (four months until I have my BSN, yay!). I have become motivated to get healthy and lose weight after seeing how obesity can predispose people to so many diseases. For me, it's not just about losing weight, it's also having a much lower risk of getting diseases such as type two diabetes,…

I am graduating in August, BSN - Nursing. Then I am starting a masters program for family nurse practitioner! I live in Ohio :) Add me :)!

Thank you so much for the responses! I was weight lifting 5-6 days a week until about two weeks ago (I am getting married in 2 months, tried on my dress and it barely fit because my back had become more muscular) so now I'm just running until after the wedding. I will definitely keep a calorie deficit, then also try and…

I am the same exact way! My dress fits really well (a little bit snug but it's fine), so I am hoping to lose weight and look amazing while still fitting into my dress :)

Hi everyone! I have been a member for a long time, but am just getting back into eating healthy. I seemed to have done well then got distracted and I'm back where I started now. I am getting married on June 28th this yeas! (so exciting!!) CW 160 GW 140 I am hoping to lose 20 pounds for my wedding :)

Im going on a cruise in december!! I hope to lose 30 pounds by then!!
-
Count me in!! I am 5'5 and would love to lose 20 pounds by Christmas! I run and weight lift about five times a weeks! It would be great to be in the 130's again :)

Cwolfman13 I understand food and water has weight to it. No need to be so condescending. I weigh myself every morning before I eat or drink anything. The same time every day. Then I might weigh myself at night. I only chart what I weigh in the morning. I just wanted to see if other people notice 2, 3, 4 pound differences…
-
Okay, maybe I will start weighing myself less often, or at least just recording on Monday mornings! Hopefully that will help me! And I looked up my sodium intake and it greatly varies day to day, that probably has a lot to do with the fluctuating weight! Thank you!

I'm just getting back into lifting! I'm hoping to lose 30 pounds and just get ripped! For just starting back lifting I'm happy with the weight I can put up! Do you have a workout regime? Do you lift everything everyday or do you do legs one day, arms another, etc?

Hello! I'm 21, have my Bachelors of Science in Biology, and currently getting my Bachelors of Nursing! I am trying to lose weight and become healthy! I gained weight during college and now am trying to get the weight off!
-
Ill make sure I eat 1200 calories a day then. And wow you look great! You can see a big difference!! Thank you everyone, hopefully I can get results fairly quickly with hard work and dedication!
-
Thank you everyone. How do you know if you're eating enough? I guess I've just been trying to eat as little as possible of healthy foods, fruits and vegetables. I never really thought about not eating enough.

Yeah his comments have really upset me. I just want to get small and fit so he stops badgering me about it. It's one thing to look in the mirror and be unsatisfied, but completely another thing to have your coach tell you you're fat.... So I'm eating 1,200 calories a day or less, and lifting weights around 90 minutes five+…
