I think it is a great program. This will be my second rd and i am going to shorten my time in phase one and three and spend more time on phase 2, the second phase focuses more on strengh training.

Like many others have said losing weight can be done at home. I did not use a gym to lose any of my weight. I have used jillian michaels dvds. i am either going to go through x2 again or do a hybrid (x2/Supreme 90). I bought a dvd series called Supreme 90. It was $19.99 and I think comparable to p90x2 as far as dvd tiles go. i have not done p90x yoga so i can only comment on x2 yoga. This being the first time that I have really done yoga, I really enjoy. Although it is not burning a ton of calories I know I am getting a great work out to strengthen and lengthen my muscles.

i usually do it with out shoes. I have tried it both ways and found that shoes dont make a difference either way for me.

I have not found any bruising. Like you said I think you were applying to much pressure. I actually enjoy the foam rolling. I wish though it was at the end of the workout as a part of the cool down instead of the warm up. I think it works. One night I was very sore and foam rolled for about 10-15 minutes while watching tv…
