Way to go on weight loss!!!! You're right. If things are not progrsssing, definitely time for a change. I can't see your profile or diary, so there are a lot of variables. What is your caloric goal? How was this determined? Do you look at your macros or calories only? Do you monitor your caloric burns when you do exercise?…

Totally normal for symptoms to get worse as you get closer to menopause. If you have other symptoms see your doctor. I finally had a hysterectomy and it was one of the best things I've ever done,
-
I am in month two. I am 46. First month was 0.5 mg and this month 1.0 mg. both once a day and in a cream. The cloud is finally lifting. I didn't do a baseline level, my doc is going on symptoms. I did have some blood work done a few years back and it was basically zero.

Welcome to fat loss. It sucks when you don't have much to start with. Luckily there are good push-up bras available AND you can buy boobs if you get really desperate. Downside: sports bras....not even a unibody anymore....more likens uni-bump. I was a bit encouraged when I watched the Olympics and those athletes had…

Eat more, drink lots of water and be patient. No uncommon to gain when you first start lifting. Your muscles must adjust and they take on water. Really. And the scale is a liar. Really. Consistency over time, take your measurements once a month. Only. The tape measure tells the truth. Consistency over time..,...you didn't…

There is one here February 2nd. I am seriously contemplating it. :)))

Sara is in da house!! You need to go no further! :))

You really should not be cutting out any macro, just find your balance. Carbs (yes, good, healthy ones), are my highest macro. You need them for energy. You need a good balance of macros to fuel your body and your workouts. If your macros and calories are in check, you won't gain weight.

I tell the truth: I feel better when I don't drink. Gives your friends a built in DD, too!

Sounds like you are close....and the number on the scale depends on your body composition. :) When you go to the gym are you lifting weights or just cardio, or both. Lift lots of iron and you will change your body. Nutrition is a huge part of your success. Eat healthy real foods and eat enough of them. :)

I have this one and it is great! I found one T garage sale and one at a thrift store. Check used stores or ebay or craigs list before you buy new.

YAY!!!!! Coffee drinkers unite!!!!

Thanks again, Sara! Well...momma is NOT getting fat again. LOL! I am seeing more muscle development over the last few weeks, so....i guess I'll keep plugging along!
-
Oh thanks!!!! That gives me a little bit of hope! Figuring this all out is making me craycray!! Now I'm over on the bulk/cut post trying to figure out that dealio.
-
Okay, I read this. So.....is the IIFYM intended for bulk or cut or both. I am really having a hard time grasping all of this. I have spent almost two years trying to be less fat...now let me see if I've got this right......I need to not gain muscle and lose more fat (+/- 22% now)....then, gain fat and muscle at the same…

Super! Thanks, Sara! Off I go, blindly! LOL!

Yes, well no. If I put, for example, 60 min, 320 calories, will that change the numbers that I have set for macros? Also, are the target numbers minimum or max? I am thinking min for proteins and max for fat?
-
This is the part that really stumps me when trying to work with all of this stuff. I don't know why I have such a difficult time with it. I get the calories and activity and net, but will it change the goal grams in the macros if I enter it? I really want to try this....it is going to be difficult to say the least. I am…

Is there something about adding In exercise calories burned changes the goals on your macros on MFP....And that's why people put in burned 1 calorie?
-
Oh....never mind. I see Sara's post. Duh!
-
Okay, so how domindetermine what the correct macros are for me?
