I was always on at my husband to park as close to the shops - mainly to avoid getting wet if it rained. Since getting my flex he's pointed out I'm parking further away and just taking a brolly! Lol

Hi , I've never used quinoa either - got a few questions - is it a grain - carbohydrate or protein? When you weigh it out how much do you use per person ( grams rather than cup as I'm in uk) & what's tha calories? Thank you - some of these reciepes sound yummy!

Thank you for your reply - you say you aim for 10,000 outside of exercise - like mfp works out your calories does fit bit give you an estimate on how many steps you should do depending on your age / lifestyle or is it just for tracking what you actually do ?

This is an amazing thread- well done to you all! I've got some photos on my profile as I've tried & failed before posting pics! So far I've lost 50lbs - I'm 5foot 6 and a half! I want to get to 159 lbs so I've got 9 to go !

When I started jan 2013 I was 99kg - 218 lbs a size 20 -22 Now I'm 168 lbs 76kg and am a 14 although sometime needs 16 on bottoms as legs seem thick lol I'm using the nhs BMI as my goal . 72kg or 159lbs get me into the healthy range and not overweight for my height. I totally agree that dress sizes totally vary

I love this topic. This is what I do. I try and save calories during the week , not too much but I might not use the calories I earned during a walk. Hi I know what you mean - I log daily ( even managed to do it when I was away in Menorca for a week) . So far I've lost 48 and have around 16 to go. I log even if I'm over my calories.
