I'm having the sleeve done on August 22. I told my dr that I was tired of blood pressure meds and being pre-diabetic. She was very understanding and referred me to a specialist. My insurance required 6 months of a supervised weight loss plan. The specialist I see has a rule of no weight gain during the 6 month plan. So I…

I'm 263 and MFP sets my calories at 2180 to lose 1 pound a week. If I set it for 2 pounds a week I go down to 1680. I would think you're not eating enough through the day which is why you're binging at night. I would suggest upping your fiber even more. I got around 59 g today. Easy to do when you eat chicken chili for…

My Dr. gave them both to me for weight loss back in November. Phentermine was given to reduce hunger and Topamax is given to bring the "flighty feeling" of the phentermine down. I took them for a month, then stopped for a month, then back on for a month. I'm off for the moment and probably won't go back just because of the…

I eat school pizza. Easy portion control because we only get one piece. If we get more, we're charged extra. Plus, it's actually really good for school pizza!

The only thing that has carbohydrates in that chicken salad is the mayo, onion, and celery. Chicken would have zero and the carbs in mayo depends on the type used. I would figure the net carbs in the type of mayo carried at Costco (or google "carbs in mayo"), the onion (which doesn't have a lot) and celery (doesn't have a…

Stick with it. Look at the accomplishment of 100 pounds! I know it can get discouraging but you've made it this far. I would increase my exercise. Weight loss will slow down the smaller you are. (Or that's what I hear anyway!) There have been some weeks I've lost a pound or less and it makes me upset but then I remember…

A couple of years ago my aunt commented "it's time we hear the pitter-patter of little feet around here during the holidays." I shot that down with, "well somebody better find a husband for me and wives for brother and cousins." Still hasn't happened for any of us! I think the family is going to die out... like dinosaurs.

Yesterday haha! Made stovetop stuffing. Best by date was somewhere around the first of the year. I figured since it was breadcrumbs it would be ok. When was the last time you told a lie?

I think it's a good idea to track, but I wouldn't worry about how many calories I ended up eating at the end of the day. It's a holiday. Enjoy yourself. Christmas only comes once a year. I'm planning on walking in the morning and evening and tracking everything I eat. Nothing different from my normal routine. If I want the…

You can freeze almost anything soup wise and then zap it in the microwave when you're ready to eat it. Just make sure it's not in the ziplock bag! I use microwave and freezer safe containers to freeze my food in. That way it goes straight from the freezer to the microwave with no issues.
