I need to go type food. I eat baked oatmeal cups that you can add fruit or what you'd like to it, hard boiled eggs, turkey bacon, a few slices of deli ham, Greek yogurt with granola in it, egg salad on an English muffin.

I am having the same issue. Someone brought really salty chips in and someone else brought in a bunch of cookies. They sit in the break room taunting me. I did eat a cookie though. I pre-log my food to see if I have room for that type of food. I have no real advise, but I certainly can sympathize.

S/B is "should be" based on exercise calories. My average intake for the month of May is 1311. Well, if my fitbit is off by, say, 20% and my calories are off by about the same, my average deficit is 200 calories/day. Can't wait for that scale to arrive :)

Yes, I do measure the food. On occasion, I eyeball it. As far as the omelet, I didn't make it, I bought it at a café. The guy didn't even know if it was 2 eggs or 3. The grams thing is based on packaging (which I know is inaccurate).

I have read that post, thanks. I opened my diary. I don't like it open, too much judgment, but I really would like help.

If it's accurate (relatively speaking) that's even more frustrating for me since I haven't lost any weight. I must be doing something completely wrong and just don't know it. (I did eat cookies yesterday...) This week it's been: 1388 intake (s/b 1906 per MFP-base calories are 1200) Burn: 2358 1211 intake (s/b 1885) Burn…

Thanks! I did calculate the calories burned for this month per fitbit and caloric intake and it was 20,000 deficit since May 1st (the exact number is at work so that's roughly what it was). I remember it being 975 calorie deficit per day which isn't accurate since I've lost no weight since then. Guess I just need to wait…

I have a flex. This is my problem, my concern for the accuracy. I haven't lost weight in 3 weeks. I typically don't trust the calories burned so I try not to eat any exercise calories back and I don't log my other exercise. According to the calories burned vs calorie intake, I'm at anywhere from 500-1000 calorie deficit…

Thanks!

That's awesome!

Thank you. I don't have any sensitivities. This is the type of info I did not find and was looking for. Thank you everyone for your answers and your help. I really appreciate it.

Just for today: I will not stress eat

Weird. Because your OP you stated "If that's your goal please assess why..." You went on and on about it. Who's to say one doesn't love themself simply because their goal is to be thin? If that's how you feel, great for you. But that was not what was stated in your OP. Your message came across as if it's not acceptable to…

My goal is to be thin. I want to look good. I don't like the extra weight I carry. I don't like my larger arms. I don't like having a "muffin top". Why is it wrong that I don't like these things and want to change them?

Congratulations! You're gorgeous!

I'm not great with diet, but if you're looking to lessen the fruit, maybe swap some fruits for eggs, nuts, peanut butter (or add to an apple, I love that), or cheese. Good luck!

How do you feed your family on $70/week? I'd love your secrets!

I feel your pain. I don't have the time either; or I suppose, make it a priority. I have a full time job, 3 children, and I house to take care of. Working out is the last thing on that list. I try to walk on my lunch or breaks, but if I'm busy at work or have errands to run, I don't get to do that either. It's difficult…

I'm reading The Goldfinch

I am at 30.81 miles for this month. 19.19 to go.

I agree with speaking to a lactation consultant. When I was breastfeeding and trying to lose weight, I added 500 calories to my recommended calorie intake.

That's awesome. Way to go.

MFP says this one if one's caloric intake is too low.
