Why is she letting another friend go who can't afford it? Can't she find someone else to go who can afford it? Then there's no money lost. I totally think it depends on your relationship with your ex AND with your partner. I think it throws another loop into your situation when your partner thinks it's strange. If it's going to affect your current relationship, then you really need to look at the situation and see what you can do to make everyone comfortable…
