Hi!I work out early in the morning and use Kelly Coffey Meyer "30 Minutes to Fitness" DVD's. I use 10-12-15 lb dumbells. You can find her DVD's on amazon and on collagevideo.com or go to her website to watch previews of all of them.

Hi! I use the endomondo app on my iphone. There is a skating setting and it measures your speed outside via GPS.

fix your metabolism now that you're in your 30's or you'll be stuck eating 1400 cals forever and still gain weight :-(

I agree with heybales. I work out daily as you can see now that we've been MFP friends for a few days, but my workouts are shorter and I alternate cardio and weight training days. I think you may be over training.

Hi MFP friends! Glad to find you! I am 44, have been MFP-ing since January and am close to my goal of -30 lbs. I thrive on giving and receing encouragement on MFP and I am a faithful logger :-) I love indoor and outdoor quad roller skating to burn up my calories if there are any skaters out there!

I use it and love fat2fit radio podcasts. My BMR form my goal weight (150) is about 1450 so I set my calories at 1600 and then eat most/all my exercise calories.

I am 44 and finishing my second month of The Firm Express this month. I eat 1500-1600 cals/day and have lost 11 lbs since Jan 7 when I started. Good question. I weigh twice a month (middle and end of month) and measure only once a month (end of month). When I measure, I also try on my intermediate goal jeans and my ultimate goal jeans. I try to do a "last chance workout, a la "Biggest Loser" on the day before I weigh in, and I always weigh in the morning before…

I just have one 30 day shred DVD, so I'm not sure. The Firm Express is 12 DVD's, each 20 min long. Why they didn't just put it on one DVD I don't know--it would be easier! Just finished Week 4 of FIRM Express. So thrilled with my weight loss of 7 lbs this month and I lost 1" off my waist and 2" off my hips.
