I have asthma and dancing (square/line/slow/fast) every Friday night, is my choice of exercise as well as Leslie Sansone walk at home videos. I am on 4 medications and have to be careful, there are times when I have to stop dancing sometimes even have to walk off the floor and go sit down and use my rescue inhaler

i use albuterol as well as 3 other medications 1 being a steroid for my asthma. wish i could say the albuterol helps me lose weight but not the case

thanks for all the replies, i guess i just think i'm doing something wrong when my burns are low and others are high for doing the same type of exercise. i have 20 lbs to lose to get to my goal then will see how i feel and may try and lose another 15 lbs , maybe thats why my burns are low

i dance every Friday night (slow, fast, square, line) and only burn around 400 in 4 hours. guess i gotta try and up my game.

thanks for the replies! i just get a little discouraged when i see others have burned 600 calories or more walking and tend to wonder if it's worth it. mfp only allows me 1240 calories so i like to have extra to play with. my doctor knows i'm trying to get the weight off and said walking is great but i am to stop if my…

my battery didnt last long either, i contacted fitbit and after proving i bought one they said its the battery terminals and they sent a replacement still had the same battery issues. i bought the one and love that i can charge it

i do Walk It Out and ordered Your Shape, Golds Gym Cardio Workout, Golds Gym Dance Workout, Zumba Fitness, Zumba Fitness 2 and Zumba Fitness World Party

i dance around the house as well as walk my stairs and do dancing videos and walking videos besdies the dancing on Friday nights, not a professional just an amateur, i have a following on Friday nights lol, gotta lead the pack and if i dont cuz im busy talking they come get me. messing/screwing up is part of the fun :)

I emailed Fitbit and they responded and had me check the device connections (take off back and remove battery to check the connectors) and after I did that and told them the connections were fine, they asked for all my info and said they would check to see if I was eligible for a replacement..should be if it isn't working…

I just got back from vacation a few weeks ago and I enjoyed myself, yea I gained a few pounds but was fine with that and now back on the wagon to my goal weight. For me if I make it all about losing and no fun, then I will more than likely give up. You gotta do what works for you, good luck!

Sorry you are having issues as well. I have problems about every week here at MFP but things are fine at Fitbit website. You can write MFP and see if they can help you

So in other words use the burn as calories (sorta), now that makes sense why you would subtract from the burn. Thanks heybales! Yes yeah for snacks haha It is syncing/working on the Fitbit website and is here at MFP now, but it doesn't always sync here, like every week lately :(

Don't feel dumb. Click on the exercise tab and it's under cardiovascular

Click on the blue i (beside Fitbit calorie adjustment) and see the time, it may not have updated yet

No I mean the negative adjustment has put me below 1200 calories, not that I ate below 1200

I have been below 1200 calories a few times no matter how much I exercised which is why I wrote MFP and got a generic reply with no help :(
