I eat the same but less of it. Not everyone eats junk to get fat. :) My diet is balanced and healthy but just served in too big portions, plus the odd large glass of lovely red wine didn't help either! I wasn't doing enough exercise to work off the excess calories. Trying to learn portion control now but it's hard with so…

So sorry to hear of your loss. Good luck and all the best to you. x

I love gin (Hendricks if you can get it), tonic, cucumber and black pepper. Odd but it works! Or gin and fizzy elderflower tonic. Am sure the diet tonics are just as good. Enjoy your night. X

I'll eat everything but... Coconut Caper berries Avocado Marmite (Yeast spread or Vegemite to non-UK people) Peanut butter Fortunately they are not too common so I can live my life quite happily except when my darling children want me to make Marmite on toast or cheese and Marmite sandwiches. Yuk!

My rule of thumb is cooked meat and fish -3 days. Anything else -5 days. Often sauces improve over time as the ingredients (garlic, chilli, ginger, herbs and spices etc) seem to develop. Anything else goes in freezer barring salad items. If you are reheating, make sure it is piping hot before serving. Also make sure your…

It's just eating at a deficit. There is nothing special about the soup. If you love soup, go for it. Otherwise just eat at a deficit and eat what you want. If you want this change to be long term then it has to be sustainable for you. No faddy foods/omitting food groups etc. Good luck my friend. X

I think the French are quite partial to it too!

I drink tea (Twinings English Breakfast tea), strong with a dash of semi-skimmed milk, morning, noon and night. But then I am English! It goes with everything. Savoury foods (eggs and bacon), sweet (cakes and biscuits) and just about everything in between. I drink it when I am happy, when I am sad, when I am tired and when…

I have three boys! I know the feeling :D I often make up a big roast chicken dinner at the weekend and cook loads of extra drumsticks and thighs. Any leftover meat goes in the fridge and are useful for quick snacks/lunchboxes. Big pans of tomato sauce (for pasta) with mince or tuna or chicken or Mediterranean veg; chilli…

It makes no difference at all when you eat your calories to weight loss. Morning, noon or night. All in one go or divided how you like. Your body doesn't care when it gets its fuel. It's up to you how you eat them, to fit in with your lifestyle. I use mine as a weekly amount and divide them how I need them over the week.…

My advice to you is to change your diet to one you can do for life. If you don't think you can do the 5:2 forever, then don't start it because when you get to goal and you go back to eating 'normally' you may start to see the weight come back on. 5:2 is just the same as MFP but with the calories shifted around a bit. You…

You will get great friendly advice here on the forums so ask whenever you are stuck. Make friends, if you like; for some it's an essential part of the journey, others not so much. Make small changes - don't try and change everything at once; it's too overwhelming and more often than not, unsustainable. So for today make…

Love rugby! Younger sons play tag as they are little. Older son plays full contact. But all play some touch rugby too.
