At 9 my daughter was running 3-4 miles with AAU cross country. She now is 11 and can run circles around me and I love to run with her. We both put on our Ipods and push eachother! I love it!!

I have read that you should keep your monitor on until your heart rate goes back to resting rate. That will be a while even after the cool down. You are not counting calories that are being burned, but if you would like to keep those calories off your food chart as an extra bonus, then shut it off!!

you need to find a workout buddy. join a class like zumba or something. make friends with the people there so that they ask you why you arent there when you miss. it helps a lot to have people to work out with.
