  • From Nutritional Support: Half of a cup of Blue Diamond Almond Breeze® or 1 cup Silk Pure Almond® Unsweetened Original or Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk counts as 1 condiment on the Medifast plan. :)
  • Feel free to add me as well! I just finishing my 6th week and have lost *almost* 18 lbs :) I am loving this program!!!

  • I plan on making the grilled cheese with the tomato soup soon too!
  • I usually follow the directions on the packages - I'm always running late so never have time to soak anything. I like to add soy crumbles and salsa to my Mac & Cheese and I like to add Laughing Cow to the chili and sloppy joes. When you add things, just make sure you are subtracting from your healthy fats, L&G or…
  • Welcome to the newbies!!! Feel free to friend me :) I am in the middle of week 4 - In 3 weeks I've lost 14.2 lbs!!! I am loving this plan! The first few days kinda sucked - I didn't mind eating on plan but I had a KILLER headache. Like I couldn't get out of bed/off the couch and wanted to curl up in a ball and die kind of…

  • My schedule looks like the one Pippa says on the bottom of her post :)
  • Haven't had this happen yet on MF but have before on other diets. Like others said, you have to be ready to commit to the plan (it's like quitting smoking!) and take it one day at a time. GL and we are here for you!
  • Sometimes the scale SUCKS! We need to look at the inches lost and how are clothes fit too to help keep us motivated :) I hear you on EVERYTHING you posted above. The *almost* 8 lbs I just lost this first week were the 8 lbs I put on in the 2 weeks leading up to starting MF. I'm just trying to keep positive and remind…

  • Just finished my first week and down 7.8 lbs!! Loving all these success stories and GL to the rest of us just starting or in the early stages of our journeys!
  • Last night (day 5 on the plan for me) was my first experience with the "medifart" (that made me LOL at my cube!). My husband walked into the kitchen right after and was like "OMG! Was that YOU?!?" He started the plan yesterday so I'm sure his will be worse but OMG I can't do that at work!!! LOL Anyways, I'm not having any…
  • Thanks! How are you feeling today? I was doing Slow Carb before this and MF has many of the same principals - but easier! LOL GL! ~Brooke
  • I am only in the middle of my second week. I lost 3.6 lbs when I weighed myself on Saturday morning....and then I weighed myself on Sunday morning (why oh why?!?) and I had gained 3 lbs from cheat day. I sneaked a peek today and I'm down a little but still haven't lost all the cheat day weight. Hope to lose it by Thursday.…
  • Hello! I'm not new to MFP but I'm new to 4HB/SCD and I'm so glad to have found a group of people also following this lifestyle! I have almost completed my first week and so far I am loving this!
  • Hey and welcome to the best weight loss/healthy living community around! I've "met" some great people on here and love having them for support. I just started 4HB this week. I'm on my 5th day. I was hoping to make some new MFP friends who are also doing 4HB or SCD. I am still logging my food as my concern is that I won't…
  • Are you sure 1200 calories is enough? Many times this is too low of a caloric intake even on days when we are not exercising. I found that I needed to bump my caloric intake to 1400-1500 calories a day and then I try and eat at least half of my calories gained from exercising.
  • Robin, thanks for the clarification...I KNEW I was going to get something wrong there!!! LOL. :D
  • OK, I resized the pic so let me know if you can see it now :) As far as calories go, you really need to figure out what works best for you. We all want to lose the weight really fast, but the reality is that we didn't gain all the weight overnight, so we shouldn't expect it all to just melt off. Its trial and error and can…
  • Sorry, I'm having a hard time posting a pic...help!
  • Congrats!!! I just hit the 20 mark this week as well :) I started 1/1/11 and lost the first 15 lbs rather quickly in the first 1.5 months and it took me 8 weeks to lose that last 5. About 2 weeks ago, I finally upped my calorie intake from 1200 to 1500 and the 5 lbs just came off! So now I know that I was not eating enough…
  • AND BTW, CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss with WW! You look amazing :)
  • I started this leg of my journey on 1/1 eating 1200 cal/day and not eating my exercise calories back. I lost 18 lbs quickly but the last 6 weeks I have been stalled out. I have gained and lost the last 3 lbs in varying amounts over these 6 weeks. I started eating back my exercise calories but it wasn't working. No change.…
  • You look fabulous!!!! An inspiration to all!!! :D Keep it up!
  • I went to Olive Garden the other day and our waitress gave me the nutrition guide which listed all the calories. I ended up having the Chicken Scampi and I asked for them to box half of it before even bringing it out. Our waitress was very accommodating! My meal ended up being 535 calories plus 350 for the salad. I admit…
