Today I did "real" pushups during the 30 Day Shred for the first time! yeeeeeah upper body strength building!

Me too! I'm six weeks into my MFP "journey" and I'm totally addicted to exercise and how it makes me feel. For the first time *ever* in my life, I'm actually working out hard, breaking a proper sweat, pushing myself. All the times I've tried to get fit / lose weight in previous years, I half assed it. So stoked to smash my…

Awesome job :)!

Thanks! :)

Ahh, I cannot wait to lose a few more pounds and have a more "noticeable" difference. I have noticed that my embarrassing back fat "rolls" are starting to shrink, and I can't wait until they are GONE! For some reason my tummy and thighs never bothered me that much, it wasn't until I got proper back fat that I was like…

The little differences are totally what motivates me as well! I have a few items of "goal clothing" hung up in my room as well, staring me in the face. The sad thing is, they're not even old clothes, they're brand new items of clothing I've bought over the years but thought I'd "lose into". Time for that to happen!

I would LOVE to find some more weight loss "twins" or people who have similar heights / starting weights! Age: 23 SW: 222 CW: 216 GW:150 (?) Height: 5"7

I'm not perfect by ANY MEANS, but I'm trying, slowly, to switch to a more "whole foods diet". Meats, veggies, whole grains. Less processed or packaged anything. That's about it!

Hi everyone! I'm an honorary brit - Canadian living in England for 2yrs :)! Feel free to add me, looking for support!

Honestly - I can relate to you *SO* much! Same age, same clothing sizes. I'm 3 inches taller than you, so my numbers are slightly higher, but our stories are so freaking similar. In high school, I was a comfy size 12 US (16 UK). I was always confident and fairly happy with my weight, despite being the "curvy" friend. The…

Definitely got some inspiration for must-have items from this list - didn't even tink of "proper" exercise underwear or socks, really

You're all so awesome, thanks for the responses!

I lived in North Oxford...Summertown-ish for about 6 months. Lived w/ my boyfriends fam for a little while. My boyfriend is English, and when we first moved over from Canada (where he met me studying abroad and lived for 3yrs) we stayed w/ the fam whilst we sorted ourselves out with jobs and a flat in London. Now I live in…

I'm south too! London! :) It's so nice to see so many other UK'ers on here! Hurrah! It's nice to sneak a peek at your diaries because we shop at similar stores.

Do you guys log it as "aerobics?"

Very encouraging to read all of your successes, ladies :) I'm 23 years old, and I'm 5"7, and I just began this journey last week. I stepped on the scale for the first time in about a year (I was avoiding it) - and I was at a record high of 222. I decided it was time to change, so I am doing just that! Feel free to add me…

I don't believe that my "cheat" day will undo my entire weeks work whatsoever. I think there is a misconception that a "cheat" day will mean a "binge" day - not the case. For me, it simply means one day of not logging. Doesn't mean I'm going to eat like a pig, it's more about the psychological break from counting. Taking…

Thanks for your answers, everyone! I've had varying degrees of success with calorie counting before - and I think what will work best for me is having Saturday as a "cheat" day (aka "No Logging"). Not that I'll go ballistic or anything, but Saturday's are my day with my boyfriend and we usually spend them out & about in…

Restaurants! I LOVE going out to eat! I live in central London and have to *force* myself to cook at home or pack a lunch. It's just so easy to eat out for every meal when you have a busy city lifestyle.....
