Anyone on the road to Rivendell? I'm headed east through a shallow valley at mile 307. Join me?
-
I've headed 2 miles further down the road, and then come here and realize I'm further than I thought I was. I thought I had stopped on Weathertop so my story was that I got stabbed by a Morgul blade and it caused be to swell up and lose muscle tone. HAHA But I was on mile 305, so... 307-I'm "Follow(ing) a wide shallow…

Jaessa- You're headed home!!! Wow. I am inspired. I'm in the same area of Middle Earth headed the opposite way. Come by my campfire and have a cup of tea!
-
auc You've made such progress! Good job!

305 miles After getting Nazgul wounded (dropped out) and wandering around a bit, I've returned. Determined to get to Rivendell, I've found the road again and set out. Please "friend" me, and we can walk together.

Agree- put her in a smaller area, not where she is currently going. She will want to go were she smells she has gone before, so clean and mask that scent. If you can, put her litter box where she has gone before. You can slowly move it to where you want to keep it after she is using it regularly. Of our 3 current cats, I…

I press the button to say DONE. I have only gone back on the button twice, and both times logged it. It is a good thing for me, closure.

I'm still tracking the miles. Been logging over on the Mordor group, but glad to see you back here. I'm on my way to Rivendell, mile 261. It is glorious to get out and walk!

Thank you for the gift of prayer. And thank You , Father, for the gift of being able to pray. AMEN!

I can relate. My last 3 blogs posts are about my emotional eating journey. (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/byrdiebee) I agree with the above posters, log everything you eat, weigh it. Even if you don't change what you eat yet, just logging it is a great start. I want to see you succeed on this journey you have begun.…

I like Yurbuds- They stay in place and I like to hear sounds around me some so I don't get hit by a car. Sound is good.

Bump. These look delicious and I want to add more nutrition to my frozen banana, spinach, almond milk, flax seed smoothie. I love the taste of this, but every time I vary it, I don't like the taste. These are great ideas!

Mile 210- next mile I will "Camp by a stream, among stunted alder trees. Moon waxing." I've started walking a long hill near my home to prepare for the Weathertop climb. To celebrate walking 240 miles, I will walk up Georgia's Stone Mountain as my Weathertop-on or about mile 240. I am looking for steeper and steeper hills…

Something that really helps me is a Subway footlong. I calculate the calories for the whole thing, eat half for lunch and ask them to slice the other half in 4 pieces, then use it as snacks. They have a lot of fresh ingredients, so I load up on spinach and cucumbers and whatever else suits my fancy that day. I leave of the…

Mile 199- Leaving the Marshes behind, yay! I can see the Weather Hills ahead. I think I will tackle walking some bigger hill to celebrate! I hope to walk the trail up and down Stone Mountain for my Weathertop walk. :)

Eldee, you caught up to me and passed me while I lingered with Tom! Mile 133-on the East road headed to Bree. Hello, Cali, glad to see you on the road as well!

I am wondering how I will do when I get to the level you are, when the novelty wears off and I am in much better shape than I was, but not at goal yet. It is concerning to think that bags of chips and other junk are going lead to you undoing your success. Are chips really worth going back to +40 kilos?! They don't taste…

I just kept doing squats and my form improved. I doubt I have perfect form, but I sure have better form than when I started. Someone advised me to keep the weight on my heels, and stick my bottom out. :P It sure did help!

I'm interested in this question also. With a hint of autumn in the air this morning, I am reminded that the sun will be less abundant here soon, and I am wondering about vitamin D in particular.

I love your style! Great story, well written. I am SO inspired to continue on. Thank you for taking the time to share and encourage.
