My goal is to be at 227 lbs. by X-mas! I keep myself motivated by telling myself there is no other option & that this is my…

It's the worst feeling in the world to take that "walk of shame". I wouldn't wish that even on my worst enemy. I'm never letting that happen again. We can do it girl!! Let's push on together! :)

It's so very sad but true what you said...Our food, in the US at least, is poison...at least what's promoted the most...like all the fast food joints and processed foods in the center of our grocery stores here...it's absolute madness and *kitten*-backwards and all the reason why a lot of people are obese.

I have SO been there!! Have you seen a personal trainer? Many gyms offer training and I would suggest you include that in your regime. Trainers can create a weight-loss plan that is right for you and can also measure you!! It's VERY VERY IMPORTANT to get measured during a weight-loss journey, because you see much more…

Gah!!! No offense but you can't take supplements by themselves and expect them to work and not put any work in...you HAVE to eat to live...not live to eat. It's important to get 6 oz of lean meat a day, eat your daily recommended amounts of veggies and fruit, eat whole grains, and drink plenty of water to see results…

Wow, deficit*!! Sorry about the typo and anymore that I may have missed! Yes! A calorie deficit plan is the way to go! Eat clean, train dirty, and watch those results start to come in!! It's totally possible because your body can handle almost anything...it's your mind you have to convince. Keep positive and feel free to…

I met up with my trainer and with my metabolic rate, which is 2,085 cal roughly, I eat 1500 cal a day...at this rate, I lose about 2 pounds a week, which is in the healthy range to lose/keep off and I don't feel starved at all!! (I suggest meeting up with a personal trainer at least once a month for them to measure…

This just may be a personal preference but when I get cravings for sweet stuff I munch on some strawberries, pineapple, mangoes...natural sugar! I absolutely frickin' love chocolate, though, so when I crave I eat a few blocks of dark chocolate...it's between 70-90% cocoa. I find if you eat a little piece in the morning,…

BTW, I forgot to post about your feet: If your gym offers personal training, I'd suggest to meet up with one and see what exercises would be best for you to do with that type of condition...trainers are excellent at catering to that to make sure you only do exercises that you're able to do comfortably considering whatever…

You're not alone!! When you have what I call a " le bleh" day, it's really easy to get in the mindframe of "oh, I effed this up so there's no way I'm going to ever meet my goals". What I remind myself when I'm going through is this: if you tripped and scraped your knee on your way to work one day, would you just go home…
