I eat bigger meals so that I am fuller longer. 6 small meals don't work for me, I'd rather have 2 large meals and room for a later snack if I need it.

I never said a person couldn't have a food that they loved... that's not what I meant at all. If I want pizza or whatever I eat it... but I don't celebrate getting healthy by eating. Why use food to celebrate? Why not a new workout shirt or running shoes... that's what I meant. Sorry if I wasn't clear. As I said earlier…

No... I meant using food as a reward for losing 5lbs. It seems like it could potentially lead to emotional eating... but those are just my thoughts. What works for one person does not work for all.

Have you spoken with your personal trainer about your concerns? If you are toning you are losing body fat and that's a great thing. Hi! My mom was told she needed this surgery and was given that same diet plan. She soon figured out it was easier to just count the calories and measure the food versus the liquid diet. You can lose the weight without the surgery as so many others on this site have lost so much by following the methods. I wish you success…
