Wowwwww. Thank you everyone for your amazing advice. I am going to get planning and prepping!!!!

I have done SW 3 times. Lost a moderate amount but left for the same reasons mainly. Pro- community (if you get along with your group) - accountability - semi easier but in the long term. no. Cons -low fat - ridiculous as this shows to have terrible health benefits -they push processed food - they dont get fluctuations in…

Thank you. I am 36 and just grew up with stones and pound's. I think it is an age thing.
-
Ahhhhh haaaaaa thank you soooooo much. Makes so much sense now.

I recently started measuring daily. It has helped me see the fluctuations and how my body works. Hormonally and with IBS my body can change very often when it comes to the scale. I used to weigh weekly but it messed with my head. I also take measurements every 2 weeks which is wayyyy more accurate. Sometimes I have weighed…

Yes. I did.i lost about a stone. This was my 3rd try. I don't do it anymore. Too many processed and low food recommendations. I loved my group however and miss them. However I feel more flexibility this way. Through prayer and mfp it works!

I first googled how many calories burned for some one my weight and then started tracking my heart rate to make sure I am the the fat loss zone. I don't need to track now. They say you burn more than running.so I just Input myself as running/jogging

Ahh I see. Thank you so much. Is it best I just input my own actual data for foods from packaging. As I often use the barcode feature?

Thank you for looking into my diary and giving me constructive advice. I will add these in more x

I am not a big protein shake fan. I have memories of eating them and puking it all up again.
-
Thank you so much that is a great way to look at it.
-
Thank you so much for your ideas. I will also check my diary entries better for accuracy. I really appreciate your feedback. X

Lynn my stats are 5ft2 and I weigh 183 pounds. I went with mfp for my grams of protein. When I did do a calculation based on half my body weight it came up with 90-100g of protein. I feel great at that level. I agree on the entries I will look into those. I will also try better protein sources.

Hiya I was doing slimming world at first then a couple of months in I started calorie counting at the same time. When it was certain occasions I wanted more flexibility than counting HXAs and HXBs (especially at times when I did not use them and wanted to use my calories for something else) and calorie counting gave me…

Thank you so much. I am going to set it as 1lb a week which gives me 1,380 calories a day.
-
What would I do if I would like to lose 2lbs a week?
-
Is that calorie amount low because of my height?
-
Hiya yes i manually entered in my calories based off my bmr and tdee calculations. So I will reduce, but just not sure how much. To be honest I do not eat all my calories every day.
-
I did slimming world and I lost quite a lot but put it back all on again. To be honest I think its highly complicated compared to good old calorie counting which is relatively simple. I did not learn portion control as I should or what was the calorie content or density of a variety of foods. I felt restricted by the green…

Hiya I use Zumba on the wii to work out so it calculates my calories burned there. But I defo would like to buy something more accurate.
-
Oh yes that makes sense thanks.

Hello, Thank u all so much for helping me and your wonderful advice!!! So my BMR is 2,183 and my TDEE is 2, 808 this all includes my 500 for breastfeeding. I had set my MFP goal at 1,900 so its too low. So if I set my calorie goal at 2,183 is that okay? Should I eat back my exercise allowance?
-
Thanks guys. So do I need to work out all the formulas like TDEE AND BMR etc??? Or should I just attempt to eat my daily allowance and eat back my exercise calories when i do it?
