  • I think you should do what you enjoy. My advice would be to buy a heart rate monitor and find out what gives the best calorie burn. I bet what you will find out is that even though you are walking farther (and you don't want to) you are probably not burning as many calories thus the benefit for your sacrifice is not great.…

I am fairly new as well - I was doing an Atkins-esque diet but after reading some of the message boards I adjusted my diet to a more balanced diet.. My energy level has increased (thus my mood).   • I have a buddy who plays the biggest loser game and has lost 5lbs in 2 weeks from the shear cardio. When I had the Wii - I used ankle weights and wrist weights for some additional resistance.
