your wasting your time with machines, use free weights.. you loose SOO much with machines.. you lose all the stability muscles.. use free weights you will feel it.. also try doing more sets.

how do you do 2.5#? never seen a 1.75# weight plate before.... you do know that a 2.5# plate on each side equals a 5lb increase right?

lifting.. a *kitten* day at work melts away lifing.. i lift every day.. with sat and sun off..

i lift 5 days a week.. a different muscle group per day.. this keeps me in the gym daily.. each workout last me about 45 min. not recommened for beginners however.. after each wieght lifting session i try to get in 1-20 minutes of cardio to cool down dont forget building muscle increases your metabolism..

I try and get out of the gym in under an hour. Mon shoulders Tues.legs Wed back Thrusday. Chest/triceps Friday biceps/forearms Each workout is followed by 10-30 min of cardio..

it takes alot of work for females to get big muscles.. lifting heavy wont make you look like a female bodybuilder, you need to specialize for that.. AFAIK.. i see girls at my gym benching there body weight.. and their arms are not massive.. nice shape.. not big round defined..

dumbells are great... but they need to be heavy enough to build some muscle.. 5 lbs arent going to cut it... yo have to lift enough that your muscles need to work... ie, can do 10 reps.. no more at a given weight.. and then keep increasing the weight.
