  • and i'm in week 12 of Jamie Eason's Livefit trainer.
  • i just put orange, carrot, sweet potato juice (or whatever i am juicing) into "search" and find the closest match. just make sure the ounces are about the same..... good for you! the benefits of juicing are tremendous!! if you haven't already, watch the documentary, "Fat, Sick, and nearly Dead"... it'll REALLY get you…
  • it's fun and easy to follow, but doesn't match the excitement of a live class. you will get sweaty though!
  • Hey! great song!!! you can only get ZIN 35 if you are a Zumba instructor and part of the ZIN network. a lot of times Zumba will re-make an already existing song, if that's the case you can prob find the original on itunes, but not the zumba version. good luck!
  • it is HIIT- the difference is it's 20 seconds work/ 10 seconds rest. 4 minutes is 8 cycles. i would suggest starting with 4 cycles and working your way up! VERY effective. but not fun ;)
  • i wear my polar HRM to class everyday and my cals are usually between 500-650 for a 1 hour class. but it's based on my height, weight and age. LOVE my polar- got it at walmart.com and it wasn't too expensive. i know exactly what i burn. no more guessing!
  • definitely classes. find an instructor that's right for you and is encouraging and motivating. the energy in a live class will help you to work harder, and develop accountability with other students. i've made some really good friends (and workout buddies) at Zumba. it's also given me the confidence to try other classes as…
  • i burned 698 cals in my class this morning. you get the best workout when you begin to get a feel for the routines and can really "work-it"...
  • i taught Aqua Zumba about a year ago- it's a tough workout- you will love it! have fun!
  • Holla! i have been teaching Zumba 5-8x per week for the last 3+ years. it NEVER gets old! i log it as "Aerobics- High Impact" and according to my HRM i burn anywhere from 400-700 calories per class depending on how hard i work. i am new to MFP and i am loving it. i have never been consistent in logging calories, MFP has…
  • i do Zumba wii and in a class and log it as "Aerobics- High Impact"...
  • you could also try flavored sparkling spring water. i get it at Trader Joes- my favs are lime, raspberry-lime, and orange. sometimes i add a little fresh-squeezed orange juice to sweeten it. lemon would be good too. i drink a lot of water but sometimes i just need a little flavor... good luck!
  • i have both and i'd say the dvd's no question. though nothing compares to the energy of a live class! have fun!
