Don't be upset. I am having problems too where I think I'm doing everything right and it just won't shift, I know how it feels. Have you tried recalculating your BMR to get the right calorie limit and then restart, doing moderate amounts of exercise instead of going in too hard As someone else mentioned it might be worth…

A massive well done, you look fabulous!

Hate it every month with a passion. Want to eat everything in sight and bloat up like an airbed! Have to say reducing my fat intake and drinking loads of water has helped my symptoms a little so that's one saving grace!

You are totally right. I have set what a lot of my family might think of as a very low goal, I have never been thin or the right weight for my height, I am 5' 4". I am a realist though and when I get to 140 and I like what I see then I shall stay there, I will still have shed over 4 stone by then which will be a massive…

I know exactly how you feel. You've doe everything by the book, logging your food and drinking loads of water and hardly anything changes. This is danger time so you've got to be strong and just keep at it. It seems so slow doesn't it? But it will shift and hopefully stay off. I'm with you!

You look fantastic, well done!

Thanks to all of you who've answered, I know it sounds silly but I hoped it wasn't just me. Will just have to put up with it and wait for the flab to disappear as compensation!

Hi M I've had 4 weeks on here and I was doing well to until this week where I've lost nothing. I know I don't exercise enough and probably don't drink enough water but my food intake is right down and I haven't cheated - sound familiar? I'm just going to keep at it and hope it's a blip but i know how disheartening it…

Well done, you look like a new woman - fabulous!

After about the third week I started to feel like it wasn't too much of a struggle any more and I stopped feeling so hungry. I think my hunger pangs are genuine now. Still have PMS cravings to deal with but I hope change in diet and extra water might help there too. Good luck it will get easier.

You look amazing, well done!

Will have to look out for it, perhaps it will inspire me to get off my bum!

5' 4" I guess I'm a little compact too. Have an 11 year old daughter who's already 5ft so she definitely doesn't take after me!

What a star!

Looking in the mirror! The thought of some new clothes is nice too and getting into a swimsuit and going swimming with the children without fear of embarassment

That's a phenomenal achievement and you should never be ashamed. Be proud always of what you've done, I think you're an inspiration.

Ok, 1lb doesn't seem a lot when you had such a big drop in week 1 but you'd be mortified if you'd put a 1lb on. If you think it's insignificant, go and find 2 x 1/2 lb packs of butter or similar and just hold it, 1lb is quite a lot really and that will be 1lb of fat that you've gotten rid of. I was always told that you…
