30 minutes session are no good (also, at LA fFitness it's actually 25 min). I would suggest that do not make a 1 year commitment. You will regret it.

For all the people saying that binging is bad etc., OP is talking about 2600 calories on weekends! That's hardly considered binging. I usually keep my calorie intake around 1500 throughout the week and eat homecooked food. On weekends I like to go out to eat at my favorite restaurants and that easily adds upto 2000-3000…

Drizzle olive oil on your veggies. Two servings through out the day should bump your calories by 240 of good healthy fats. And you could add more protein at each meal. Some Salmon, Tilapia, Lean Turkey. :)

Have a lil faith. Do workouts outside of your time with him. Eat the 1600 calories, but try and get those calories from lean meat, veggies and nuts. Weight loss at 1 lb a week is sustainable in the long run. But, for 2-3 weeks you could try losing 2 lbs a week. It will be easier initially. Use your trainer as added help,…

OP I really hope that you will not use your sister as a way to sabotage your own weight/health goal. Sometimes, people do that, coz they are scared of change. My best wishes are with you. Stay strong and carry own. Don't let anyone get in your way including your self.

I agree...I tried to find some sort of peer reviewed journal paper about how much difference drinking more water every day would mean in the grand scheme of things, and couldn't find anything concrete.

Not a whole lot. Only when I do cardio...and that is twice a week max. And I usually drink 1 liter while doing cardio.

Also, you could probably eat more with the amount of exercise your doing. Maybe up your intake to 1400-1500 and see how that works for you.

It's probably just water weight. Wait a couple of days and weight yourself again. Don't sweat it! :)

You can see my diary. I try to get 150 grams of protein atleast. I do around 1700 calories (starting this week), I was at 1400-1500 previously and still got around 130 grams.
