Amazing change, and you look great!!

A black and white pic of Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun (Daryl and Glen from The Walking Dead!) hanging out in front of a graffiti'd wall with nerf guns and cigarettes. ...It's everything I ever wanted in a background pic. :smokin:

Yeah, if she’s not your friend, it’s a no-brainer in my opinion… As long as your sister’s relationship with this girl isn’t collateral damage.
-
Yup. Best to go with your first instinct on this one, haha.

I’ll eat avocado any way it’s offered to me, but mostly I just love it cut up on a plate with a little garlic salt and black pepper. I also occasionally mush it up with plain yogurt and add it to a salad as a low-cal dressing substitute.

THIS! A guy definitely gets my attention-- and holds it-- if he can make me laugh. There's nothing sexier than a dude who knows how to work a conversation.

Aspiring teacher right here! I'm credentialed to teach middle school and high school English, but no one seems to be hiring at the moment in Orange County, CA. I hope to find something soon, though. :) Until then...

I had pain at the balls of my feet and at the toes from all those jumping jacks, yeah. :( I don't have flat feet, really, but I think my shoes just weren't right for those exercises... They were just your average walking sneakers. I've since purchased actual crosstrainers with insoles and broken them in at the gym, so I'm…

Same here! I'm trying to break myself out of the focus on numbers, relying more on how I look and feel. And YES, Day 1 was borderline self-abuse for me. :/ I've taken too much time off because of personal reasons and INSANE soreness in my thighs, but I want to start it up again either tonight or tomorrow morning for Day 2.…

Congrats! That's a great feeling!!

Oooh, I'll be looking those up when I get home! I tend to go for those types of storylines as well. I think I'm addicted to that survivalist mentality.
-
Ahhh! I loved those!!

I just finished In the Woods by Tana French and got completely pissed off about it, haha. So I'm off the thrillers for a while... But I'll be starting the Game of Thrones series shortly.

I’m IN!!! I actually started earlier this week and finished Day 1 (barely), but hurt my quads to the point where I could hardly walk… Not the fault of 30DS, btw, at least I don’t think so. So after a few days of recovery time, I’m ready to get back to it, probably either today or tomorrow. This thing terrifies me, but I…

AWESOME job, seriously. You look fantastic!! ...And Happy Birthday! :drinker:

Eleanor Rigby and I Saw Her Standing There. AWESOME, all the time. :glasses:

Beautiful success story! Congratulations, you look wonderful. :)

THIS!

Wonderful!! Congratulations! :drinker:

Haha, love it!

Yep, tom yum soup. I'd stick with veggies, but if you absolutely HAVE to have a protein in a dish, aim for tofu. :)

Burpees = EVIL!!!! ...That being said, I think they're great. ;)

I second the reverse crunches! I don't think I'd ever done them before 30DS, and now that I've started, my lower abs feel a little sore and like they're slowly tightening... This is definitely my problem area as well, so I was thrilled to start feeling the burn there. Traditional crunches only seem to work my upper abs.

3 things, all of which I witnessed in tandem last night: -Chit chat on a given machine. I dislike when someone decides to lay down on a weight bench like it’s naptime, but even worse than that is when two people decide to carry on a FULL-BLOWN conversation while seated on a piece of equipment, not using it in the least.…

I just started Jillian’s 30 Day Shred, same problem. My upper body strength just isn’t there yet, and it sounds like yours may not be either. What I’ve found really helpful, though, are wall and counter pushups to boost my strength a bit between full-blown workouts. I’ve done pushups on almost every wall in my house at…

Aside from the other, non-healthy options, my family demands kale chips, artichoke/spinach dip with honey whole wheat Special K crackers (I'm addicted), greek yogurt and onion dip with veggies, and stuffed jalepenos with corn flake batter.

65 lbs is an amazing achievement in and of itself, and even though it's difficult for you to notice the positve changes your body has already made, the difference was immediately apparent to me. :) Congrats and keep it up-- you're obviously doing something right!! Cheers to you and your awesomeness! :drinker:

Haha, I like that! A tad creepy, but supportive nonetheless. :) Personally, I always get startled when someone speaks to me at the gym... That's my "ME time," and I kind of tune out other people for a bit, haha. I would've jumped for sure.

Beautiful! :)

Great job!! Very impressive loss for such a short period of time!!
