Gorg! Great job! Isn't it so cool to see your transformation in pictures! I never notice a difference looking in the mirror but a picture shows your progress!

I weigh myself daily (in the morning) but only record it once a week on Sunday. I don't get so overwhelmed with the daily number. It's more so to keep myself aware and focused. I went about 2 months without stepping on the scale and gained a bunch of weight. I thought I was doing OK by just eating a little extra cake, etc.…

I've been trying to lose weight for a while. I'm just tired of being "the big one". I don't like the sluggish feeling. I'm also getting married so I don't necessarily want to lose weight just for the wedding (although that will be fabulous). I want to be healthy before we start a family. Right now I'm just focusing on not…

I did WW 5 years ago and lost 40 pounds. It worked for me. I think the weekly weigh-ins and the meetings (i found a very i interactive and fun group) helped keep me accountable. I had fun! As soon as I stopped going to the meetings and stopped tracking I gained the weight back :grumble: . I just joined MFP last week and I…

I'm getting married later this year (still trying to pin the date). We all can motivate each other while going through all of the planning stress!

I have a co-worker just like that (do we work at the same place   ). She's so skinny but is always eating things like double cheeseburger, donuts, steak and cheese subs, etc. And she always wants you to eat it (to the point where she'll ask you a dozen times). I tell her 'no thank you' and she then replies…

When I lost weight previously, I had someone say "you don't want to lose too much weight...you'll start to look sick!". The one I loved was when one particular person didn't say anything to me about my weight(loss)...that's when I knew I lost weight and looked good! Every time I would visit my family she would always…

I step on the scale every morning but only record my weight once a week. My official weigh in day is Monday. Stepping on the scale daily helps me focus and kind of keeps me on track. I went months without stepping on a scale and just avoided and ignored the fact that I was gaining weight. I don't stress too much on the…

I've had things said to me (or around me) all my life about my weight. And mostly from people I know which can hurt more. When I was in elementary/middle school my grandfather told me I was getting big...I looked like a football player:frown: . I also had a friend tell me (after I started gaining the weight back that I…

Oh this is one for me as well. My boyfriend's (now fiancé's) sister gave me all of her fat clothes after she lost weight. Although a nice gesture, I was embarrassed.

There was several things. 1) I just got tired of avoiding mirrors and feeling sorry for myself. 2). I was on the phone talking to a friend while walking to the subway station after work...my friend said "oh someone hasn't worked out in a long time". Just a simple walk (no power walk) and I was breathing hard :-(. 3). I was…

Hi everyone! My name is Samantha and I'm 30 years old ( and 2 months!). I've struggled with my weight most of my life but with my recent engagement really want to make a lasting change to be healthy. I want to be healthy for myself but for a future family. I look forward to chatting and meeting you all! See you around!

I know this is an older post but just wanted to chime in regarding cross wraps. I love them. It's helped with reducing the breakage around my hairline (no stress from the typical wrap). My ends are just as smooth. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Everyone! My name is Samantha and I'm new to MFP as of today! I'm relaxed and trying to find the right balance when working out. In the past I've just worn my hair in a ponytail all the time when working out. Just looking for support and a good group to share ideas and stories!
