Haha l know what you mean! Its so much more upper body work which I'm not very good at, month one is more cardio which ive learnt to love! Did cardio conditioning today which was lovely but the other two workouts are hellish! Dont worry though after another week your body will get used to it again which will be great! X

Well done! You've improved overall :-) that's great! I didn't do the fit test as can't really be bothered by it anymore. I started month 2 on Monday as well but as I've been ill all week last week (and still a little now) i kept on getting out of breath and had to stop loads! Today I ended up doing month one as I didn't…

Hey yes you're a week ahead of us so going through the same bits! This is my second round so I know how you're feeling. I didnt lose any weight (except initial 2kg water weight - it never came back so could have been fat) but i lost loads of inches from everywhere. This round I'm having the same sort of thing happening -…

Same here one more week of month 1 as I missed a few whilst I was away plus the recovery week got pretty boring the last time I did it. I've come down with a cold though so I'm taking my time with the moves & having extra breaks as don't want to wear myself out before next week! Eek one more week till month two!! Nervous...

I'm 5'3 144lbs and am aiming to get to 128lbs I wanna join too! Feel free to add me!

Thats really good of him to start up with you I wish mine would. Itd be nice to do it together with someone just for an added push. Plyo is a nasty one to start on though lol month two wont be much better either.. Hope he makes it through month 2! I'm looking forward to finishing month 1's plyo but then the back of my mind…

A friend of mine did T25 after insanity and said that it was a good workout although not as intense as insanity(some of the discs in the second half were but as it was only 25 mins she didnt feel too taxed afterwards) - in the end she re-started insanity again as it didnt give her the kick that she wanted. I've got it and…

Lol it looks like its only us from the 1st group who are still slaving away! Well well done to us for doing it twice and still having the enthusiasm :-) brilliant!! Hopefully some more members will get a new surge of willpower and get back into it -- you can do it!!! Month 1 is coming to an end! Well done everyone :-)

I know I am too! It is the one that I look forward to them most (still hard but enjoyable) Eeek month 2 is coming round fast!!

I usually burn around 350-400 for pure cardio and around 150 for cardio abs according to my hrm. Im 5'3 144lbs. I log it under cardio as it still has cardio elements to it. Hope that helps..

It is hard to stick to a diet however I find if I eat high protein foods that I tend to be less hungry throughout the day. My breakfast is usually tiny as well to allow for more snacks in the evenings. I think if you do want to allow yourself a snack or two make sure you cut back on your other meals to allow it. It is down…

You found it :-)!! Bet you wish you hadn't lol.. It is a hard one straight from the beginning it's very tiring.. Makes you feel good when it's over!
-
Yes I agree with you I think because they're shorter they incorporated higher/more intense cardio moves into the workouts to still make it worthwhile doing. In month 2 its longer but everything seems to be at a slower level(still hard!). I didnt mind it though felt quite nice to push through!

That's great Kim! You put yourself first and make sure you keep doing it, once you and your family get in the routine of you doing your workout at a certain time it will all become second nature and will make it so much easier to complete.

Haha she is over the top on some occasions and does really want the attention. In the fit test results tho on one thing she gets a crazy amount which does seem near enough impossible(cant remember which ex but i have questioned it a few times) i see where this hate club stemmed from! She is a little annoying..

You look amazing!!! Wow :-) really well done!

I dont think you should worry about your age, when I looked on amazon at the reviews for insanity most of the people who had bought the program and had completed it were over the age of 50 I even remember reading a review from a 62 year old - you can do it! Perhaps get checked out by your GP if you are unsure but I think…

Just take your time and go at your own pace it really doesnt matter how many times you stop or go slower as long as you carry on till the end. You will still see results. And as you havent been pushing yourself for a year due to your knee you should go at your own pace so as not to cause injury. You did really well on the…

Welcome back! I usually count the switch kicks and low plank obliques as one each rather than left/right=1, but I you can do it either way as long as it makes sense to you.
-
I didnt follow the nutrition guide as the calories given to me were way too high I even gained some weight at one point although once I lowered them it all started improving. I did try to eat 40/40/20 but towards the end it was more 40c/35p/25f as long as you eat relatively clean and have lots of protein I think you'll do…
-
Well done artificer you've done so well! :-) The last fit test I did didnt go as well as I had hoped I decreased on some exercises from the previous ones but nonetheless I have improved from the very beginning. Anyway my results from these manic 2 months are: Switch kicks 87/120 (+33) Power jacks 37/45 (+8) Power knees…

Fit tests... I think I'll give Sunday my all to see if i really have improved since the beginning, then on Monday we're supposed to do another one and I think I'm going to do it at a slower pace as i really dont think I'll be able to improve anymore on the numbers that I already have and I want to feel like I'm progressing…

I had that a few weeks ago and it was a terrible feeling. Just rest it out for a couple of days your body is probably just exhausted and needs a break. You're going to start up again on. Monday anyway so it doesnt really matter if you miss a couple. I say skip max recovery and see how you feel on Friday if you're up for…

The last one ever!! (Until round two anyway!) i am going to miss this one as I have the same feeling as you afterwards - brilliant high! This and cardio conditioning are my favourites! Im really going to miss cardio cond. my endurance has improved so much since the beginning its such a nice feeling. :-) two more workouts…

I thought about redoing only month 2 but I think my body could do with a rest so I'm planning on following the program right from the beginning again. I'll start the group tomorrow when I get a chance and I'll post the details on here - hopefully there will be loads of interest from other people starting insanity I really…

I'm with you on this one I HATE PLYO!! Today wasnt too bad though I lasted longer on most of the exercises which is a sign of improvement but oh the burn! I check my heart rate monitor throughout all the ones where I'm about to die and on plyo my heart rate is never that high(compared to the other discs) but I have no…

Well done guys you see a clear improvement! It does make you feel like you're actually accomplishing something!! Great :-) I didnt make it today and as its plyo tomorrow i dont think I'll make it then either :-S think I'm going to leave the fit test for Thursday on recovery day as I'm not up for getting up even earlier to…
