  • The machines at the gym give out generic calorie counts... as they do not figure in height or age only weight.. I use http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc this calculator than take the average from what the machine says and the # you get here or with the calculator... I personally find that the gym machines always…

  • I think that it is the washer and not the dryer that is the culprit.. I think that when the water fills up in the drum in the washer the socks go "overboard", under the drum, then the gnomes rescue them to make hats... or the mice under the house have really warm feet :-)
  • Hey, so I only weigh myself at the gym. So if I want to know what I weigh, well I have to go to the gym.. I thought it was genius :-)
  • I was so sick yesturday that I was only able to take in MAYBE 250 calories the entire day.. and of course when I did put it in, it came right back out again.. Today, I feel better but no where close to where I should be for calorie intake for the day.. Is this going to put a damper on my progress, or is it not abig deal??
  • I don't go to the gym til late in the evening, 9 or 10 sometimes... and sometimes I don't make it... So I guess what I am trying to say is, do you eat the calories after you exercise?? I find this confusing, If I burn 600 calories at the gym, then I eat 600 calories worth of food am I not defeating the purpose of working…
  • I did A&W, Pizza Hut and 7-11 Nachos and Cheese this weekend... I'm really not good with the weekends...
  • Thank You everyone for your replies.... I REALLY wish bedtime at my house was a more organized time... I mean some nights no problem everyone (the kids) are asleep by 9-930... BUT... Malachi (8months) and Sadie (3yrs 10mnths) they like the late night gig!!! Sadie was great with bedtime, I remember she used to go to bed at…
  • I can't remember the last time I was in bed before 10 ;-) But that does sound wonderful... Most nights my kids are not even in bed by ten... I would say on average I'm in bed by midnight and up at 645am... so.. maybe I answered my own question... and I'm sure the 5 kids don't help.. but before I started all this I could…
  • I'm noticing that with this whole "lifestyle" change, that I'm am becoming increasingly more and more tired each day. Could it be something I'm eating, or not eating for that matter??? It's only Thursday and I had to take a nap this afternoon.
  • I have (had) an addiction to Tim Hortons French Vanilla Cappucino. Up until a couple of weeks ago I was drinking at least 3 per day. They are loaded with calories (250), carbs (41g) and sugar (31g). I also fancy Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. Well I have quit cold turkey. I have been drinking just 1 cup of French Vanilla…
  • I love to make smoothies. I do a half cup of frozen fruit (whatever you like), I personally go for the mixed berry, a half cup of fat free vanilla yogurt, and a splash of Orange Juice (without pulp)... throw it into a blender, mix er up, there ya go...
  • Hi Everyone, I am 29 years old, 5'1" and weigh 140lbs. I just had a baby 2 months ago (my 5th) and really need to loose the extra weight (about 35-40 lbs). I have never had to work to loose weight I have always been small. So I am new to this calorie counting, tracking exercise buisness. I am about a week into it and have…
