WOW! Rough day, eh?

The mini was my first half. What a great time. Lots of entertainment. Good crowd support. I really liked the wave start too. I was shooting for a 2:10 and got a 2:06 so I'm VERY pleased! Angie

Yea, I saw the sign for Earth Fare too. Kinda crazy how all the sudden we are finally getting these stores and they'll be so close to each other. Angie

A beer at Victory Field is the best. Love me some baseball. Thanks to my husband I've been on a dos equis amber kick....mmm, good! I'm not a fan of DST. I know it's only an hour, but I don't like the change. I've seen the cranes as well- love hearing their calls. I'm anxious for the sounds of summer! Angie

Good luck w/your races! Sounds like you're jumping right in w/those distances. I'm too scared to do that....mainly because of the swim. LOL I'm sure you'll love it! Angie

I'm sooooo over it!! Thankful I bought a pair of yaktrax. If I don't use them at all after this year, I still would've gotten my monies worth. Angie

Thanks for all the info and advice. I'm looking forward to May! Angie

I find if I have a set plan I'll stick to it. I write out what I'm doing and on which day. Also, social media. Especially Instagram! I'm sticking to running outside for all my training runs (except intervals and hills). So, far I've been able to stick to that thanks to buying some yaktrax. This winter can suck it! I'm over…

maybe we should bombard MFP with request to get the message board on the mobile app. I know I'd definitely be more active if I could get it through the app. Angie

Doc is w/Community Hospital. Yes, I would appreciate Brian's number. You can message me if he doesn't want it out in cyberland. I'm wanting to do the Tri Indy Olympic distance this year and then the 70.3 in Muncie next year. I plan to sign up and volunteer for Louisville's IM. Did you know it's one of the hardest ones? At…

Well shoot! Missed it again! How'd it go? Angie

I start my training plan next week. It's the Train like a Mother finish it plan. I heard it's not a race you'll get a PR in because it's so crowded. I really don't care, as I just want to enjoy the atmosphere. Do they give tips on where to park and how early to get there? I'm more worried about the logistics of it all.…

I workout at the Greenwood location. I can't make it that early though... Angie

Have you gone to a Sports Medicine Ortho. I recommend Mike DaRosa. If it is shoes, have you tried the Altra's ? Perhaps a different running store w/a new person looking at your run. Also, would you mind sharing who your ART person is? Which Ironman? My goal is to do a half IM. Angie

How'd it go? I've been down and out but would have loved to attend this. The swimming for tri is my weakness. Angie

Ragnar is on my bucketlist! I wish I could fill in for you. I really want to do the Pacific Northwest or the Utah race. I hope you find a replacement!! Angie

2014 hasn't started out very kind to me. I think I'm finally recovered from the flu. Still have a lingering cough.... Anyways, I gotta get back on track my 1/2 marathon training is supposed to start on the 20th. Angie

For 2014 my goals are: - to run the Mini Marathon -complete at least one sprint triathlon -complete an olympic distance triathlon -participate in more road biking events -if I can get enough gals interested..run a ragnar relay Angie
-
I also wish I had taken my health and fitness more serious at a younger age.... live and learn I guess. Angie

I'm still here... plugging away... 3-5 days of weight training, riding my bike at least 2 times a week, running 2 times a week and swimming 2 times a week. I miss my yoga, but I don't want to let anything else go. Angie

I finished this book a month or so ago. LOVED it. I have to admit I was fascinated by these ultra runners. Angie

Awesome job! This summer I started doing sprint tris hoping to do Olympic next summer. Angie
-
For my first couple of tris I wore a sports bra, one piece bathing suit, and tri shorts. I've recently bought a tri top that has a bra built in, I'm small enough that this is fine. If I were bigger, I think I'd wear an additional sports bra. Angie
