MInd if I send you a pm with a pic of before I started and where I am now? You can give me an opinion of bf%
-
I was measuring with bf calipers and also posted pics of myself on a couple bodybuilding forums. Everyone said around 25%bf but based of the pics you posted, THe 30% one fit me about right. I stil look no where near your 22%. I have a lot of loose jiggly fat around my stomach with love handles. I even took measurements and…

That site gives me the same numbers. I get two different numbers when I use BF% and when I don't

My apologies, I never said my height. I'm 6'2. There is no way you were 188lbs at 6 foot 27%bf. I have a thick frame but by no means musclular.

Its being calculated with body fat calipers. Highly accurate. If you use the calculator option where you input your bf%, its supposed to be one of the most accurate. But when I do that, the calories are going up and I don't know why. Can anyone explain whats going on?

Maybe I am just not understanding. I know it obviously works because people are using the method successfully but if just seems on the days you are not exercising, you are eating the extra calories. It also doesn't know how many calories you are actually burning. Some one can work out 3 days per week but one person for 30…

Alright thanks for the help

So for every single recipe we make, I have to find out all the calories for each and every ingredient? Geez, that's even more work on top of cooking and cleaning up. This keeps getting harder and harder. There really isn't a way to find out the macros then right? What about when eating by a family members for dinner? I…

I went on their website and did not find that available. Where did you buy it?

Anyone else? I am getting very hungry with growling stomach shortly after I eat one 2300 cals a day and this is only a 500 cal deficit... For instance, I have 650 cals left for the day and I still have to eat dinner and I am going to be up till midnight and im starving now

This helped a lot! Thanks for this!

Any other input?
-
Thank you for this

I am even more confused after reading that. I changed my activity level to lightly active and dropped the weight loss goal from 2lb to 1.5 and I am given a limit of 2300 which is about 40 cal higher than my BMR. I am so confused

Well what exactly is the difference between using MFP calculations and TDEE-20% calculations?
-
It sound like the MFP approach and TDEE approach are to same thing. Am I reading this wrong?
-
What does the asterisk next to the foods mean?
-
Ok so today I started using MFP and ran into some trouble starting with breakfast LOL. I had: -2 egg veggie omelet (peas, green beans, peppers, and onions) NO CHEESE on whole wheat toast fresh from bakery -Small oatmeal (rolled oats) with milk and sugar -20oz coffee with half and half no sugar I had a hard time trying to…

I have a question about MFP and figuring out the calories. When it asked you if you are sedentary, lightly active, etc... are they talking about work or your exercise lifestyle? I notice the amount of calories increase or decrease with the choice you pick and then also changes based on if you log in exercise. If I chose…

Thank you. Where is this?
-
So this is pretty much a guess. WHat about the food YOU cook yourself? You add each ingredient you put in?
-
Guys, I can't stress enough how much clearer you made this for me. Each and every one of you that gave your input helped me in the greatest way and it all makes so much more sense. I thank you for that!. I am going to start making the transition to eating healthier and using MFP regularly tomorrow morning. Another question…
