  • Congrats! Way to go!
  • Please add me. I am looking for mfp friends too, for motivation and support. It's a long journey and a lot easier with others.
  • I am going through diagnosis now. There is a MS organization that goes through diets discussions online. While none have proven to be the diet to follow, it seems a healthy one, like the Mediterranean diet, with lots of healthy omega 3 and b12, and avoiding triggers like gluten, seem to help many. Good luck to your family.
  • You can add me. I love buddies and giving support!
  • I am sorry to hear about past struggles and current frustration. There are several things you may want to try that could help. Look at your protein ratio. Proteins should be about .8 grams per lb of body weight. Since protein is typically low in calories, you can actually eat more and feel full within the same calorie…

I am trying to lose 25 lbs, and have already lost 7 in the last 30 days, but know there is lots of hard work to come. I am adding everyone above, and please invite me…
  • Btw- above is just my opinion based on research and personal experience. Hopefully helpful, but I am not a sport nutritionalist.
  • 1.4g of protein per kg body weight per day. Muscle will burn more calories, but doing both weight loss and muscle building simultaneously will be a slow progress. I'd recommend not looking at your weight as much as inches changing on your body as a success. Btw, I am doing the same thing. Also, there is a forum "eat more…
  • Started Stage 2 tonight. It has beenover a year since I did the whole thing. I forgot how much balance you need for this stage! LoL. Glad to see there are others starting or restarting too.
  • Our son was diagnosed with celiac and we had to suddenly become a gluten free household. The improvements to health were actually experienced by everyone. For instance, I haven't had an episode of IBS or a migraine, which were common, since the switch. No one is experiencing that mid afternoon crazy feeling of starvation…
